Vickerson being out his huge. They ran up the gut right by Sylvester with ridiculous success. Dude is going to get pounded. He might never mentally recover.

Alec Ogletree, how beautiful it would have been to have you.

Seahawks have a Dominant running game, an elite caliber QB that is very difficult to sack, quality weapons, a very good DL that gets pressure up front and the best secondary in the NFL.

Right now they are the most balanced team in the league. And honestly, I don't see anybody beating them at home next month. They have totally embarrassed the other 2 best teams in there this year (sf/no). He'll they actually whooped SF's ass the last 2 times they were there.

Maybe Carolina could upset them, but I severely doubt it that they could go in there and win.

If NY/NJ has 20+ MPH winds in February, I would be pretty concerned. If the winds aren't quite that strong, our O can move the ball on any D in football.

I'm also hoping for somewhat decent weather in Denver through the PO's.

If we were better at holding onto the ball our defensive stats would look much better. Not elite, but not terrible.

There is some reason to be optimistic about the D.
Exactly.....they do have their WTF moments too, but are capable of shutting down anyone when they're all on the same page playing up to their potential.

And let's all remember we've done all this missing numerous starters and quality players for numerous games at a time.....

If we take care of our own business, it doesn't matter who we play. Our coaching staff is amongst the best in the league. I'll match them up with anybody, especially having 2 weeks to find the weakness and prepare for it.

Yesterday's stats don't mean squat right now. I don't care what our TO ratio is, because if we don't turn it over in the playoffs, it is not an issue. The coaches are working hard each practice on holding on to the ball.

We are a banged- up club right now, but should get guys back for this
last quarter run and the playoffs. Other teams can get significant injuries that drastically affect their scheme, as we have seen with the queefs.

Teams that look unbeatable in December can be beat by a hot team. Just ask the 1996 & 2012 Broncos, the 1998 Vikings, the 2007 & 2010 Pats, and the 2011 Packers, to name just a few.

Like I said, let's take care of our own business, and let the chips fall where they may.

I would like to see more Ball early with KM coming in on later downs, love what KM has done this year and I know he was hurt vs Patsy's but Ball is more explosive. Save KM for those awesome screens and Pass pro with some runs thrown in.

moore is like a ballhawking saftey that isn't a ballhawk. Adams can at least take care of a TE or be in the right position in a zone for the better part of 30 minutes.

Just having Moore from a depth perspective is huge considering all the injuries we have had this year.

That overrrated rush D was exposed again. 7th in the NFL is very generous.

Considering the fact that this was how the Broncos were trying to stop the run (notice the huge hole that was there in front of Jamaal).

I'm not one for excuses as I've been on the "our defense isn't that good" train most of the season (and received a good deal of flak for it), but I think being without both Vickerson and Wolfe had at least a little something to do with it.

Charles didn't run wild or really do anything in the run game outside the first few drives.

I thought the Smith scrambles were more damaging than anything Charles did.

The best defense is a good offense in my opinion.

Honest question:

Has any Denver week one starter on defense played every game from start to finish yet without missing any time to injury?

Sheepstud gets to use injury excuses for the Chiefs but not the Broncos. Learn the rules, man.

Technically, Miller.

Shaun Phillips and Harris sort of fit this bill along with Knighton. Harris' only nonstart was when Bailey came back for a quarter alongside DRC for the Jags game and Phillips has been playing the same AMOUNT, just now in a different "starting" role now at DE.

Broncos are the #1 AFC team, and 3rd overall, in the updated Advanced NFL Stats team efficiency ratings.

You must find these moral victories very comforting.
