Looked at the All ACC Team...

1. Duke got hosed as the 2nd team RB. No way Freeman should have been ahead of him.
2. Perryman did not deserve to be 1st team at LB. Tyler, Christian Jones and Telvin Smith all should have been first team ahead of him.
3. Campanero from WF should have been a 1st team WR.
4. Morris didn't deserve to be third team. He didn't earn even that this year.
5. Happy for O'Donnell that he got first team. Should have won the Ray Guy. He's better than Colquitt.
6. Tracy Howard should have gotten some love at CB.
7. Not sure how Flowers didn't get on any of the three teams at LT.
8. Matias should have been higher than 3rd team.
9. Not sure how Henderson or Bush got on the Honorable Mention list. Neither did anything this year. At least Bush had a legitimate excuse with the hernia surgery issues.
10. Lol at James Wilder getting an honorable mention. Dude has zero future. He will go into modeling or gay porn or both, but not the NFL. Should have been a LB. Was way overhyped even at Tampa Plant.

Mora is not going anywhere, his parents live in Southern California and attend every home game. His kids are pretty entrenched here, and UCLA will give his assistants raises and will have to improve facilities.

I'm giving a huge shout out to PAC12 football. 4 teams in the top 15 and 5 in the top 25. Damn good football being played there now. Hopefully Colorado can get their **** together and join the party.

UCLA holds off Washingtons interest in Mora by agreeing to a new 6 year deal with him worth more than 3m per season plus some administrative changes designed to remove some shackles from admissions and increase salaries of assistants.

That would be nice to get Cook from FLA -- considering they just took WR Sousa from us.

Those are good players for MIA. 5* CB and a 4+ RB. NICE.

Told ya.

U$C's plan backfired on getting Mora out of town.

HTF does USC have anything to do with this? You think they hired Sark so that they could make an opening at UW and get Mora to take it? Lol. They hire someone cause they think he could be a good coach, it's not just the cherry on top of some dastardly plan.

I told you UW was making a run at Mora and I was right. UCLA sensed that where there was smoke there was fire. You guys then freaked out and backed up a brinks truck to keep him. That's what happened.

Lol, you think Snarks is more qualified than any of the coaches that were considered? Sumlin, Peterson, hell Saban was rumored. They were gonna pay their next coach 6 million or more. But they settled on an average Pac12 coach who has a losing record vs top 25 teams and doesn't have a great in conference record. This guy is a Kiffin clone, he's not a long term option and Haden is just waiting for a better crop of coaches to choose from. Meanwhile he takes Snark, and happens to be Mora's alum.

Of course U$C was hoping for mora to bolt, they've been losing recruiting battles and games to UCLA. Actually got a beatdown in their last two games.

UCLA did the right thing in paying Mora and his assistants, and also improve the facilities. Mora did a great job to leverage his clout to get what he and his assistants deserve. Also leveraged for better facilities, which is awesome.

Quote:
A big factor in Mora returning was UCLA's recent commitment to building a new football-only facility. Key to this is UCLA recently securing a donor that will contribute a very large sum toward the construction of the facility.
UCLA is ready for big time football, and U$C is turning into a circus.

24.....no one hires someone with the chief goal being hopefully the vacancy created forces our rival to go there....ohh and if Sark ends up being good, that's a cherry on top for us. Nobody thinks that way. BTW I didn't say he was a great hire. He is inferior to alot of coaches, but I'm just saying that this idea that the grand plan for USC was to push Mora out and they are willing to accept that Sark might suck just so long as they get Mora out. That's absurd.

Never said it was the chief goal of Haden's, but it certainly was a factor.

Given that, why did South Central hire him? He's inferior to a lot of coaches and isn't even a great coach within the conference. Why hire this guy? He's a Kiffin clone to boot.

South Central was supposedly ready to plunk down 6.5 million or more for a HC. Think about it, they were ready to make a splashy hire but hire a mediocre coach. Two conclusions I have arrived at with regards to the Snark hire. One, Haden hired Snark to ride out the sanctions and get boosters to plunk down some major cash for a big time coach so they can win Championships. Second, South Central is getting beat in the recruiting and on the field to UCLA, that is a major problem for them. Knowing Haden, who is a smart guy, Rhodes Scholar, calculated this into his decision. I have no doubt it did, because UCLA is not known to pony up big bucks and has weak leadership when it comes to supporting its football program. I have no doubt Haden calculated that into his decision.

UCLA is already making commitments to a state of the art football facility. Here is Mora talking about it.

Florida SAO will announce tomorrow whether Jameis will be charged.

Everything I am hearing suggests he will not be charged.

It doesnt matter dude. Now that Jameis is in the clear, whoever the opponent is is done.

As much as I hate OSU and Meyer and I truly hate both, I will root for you against FSU, but you don't have the athletes to run with them. This is no disrespect to your roster, it's damn good, but FSU is on a whole other level.

Your defense is leaky, too. It doesn't matter anymore who is No. 2.

You're telling me that Urban Meyer wouldn't be saying the same thing again if he was back in the SEC....no matter if there were 2 undefeated teams ahead of his team?

I'll give you a hint.

Yes.

For the record, if Ohio State beats Sparty, they should play in the National Championship Game, in my opinion.

I'm a Big Ten fan and don't want to see an undefeated team from the conference getting screwed over, even if it's the hated Buckeyes.

I just like poking Urban Meyer and Ohio State fans with a stick now and then.

These grapes, they're sour....I have no problem admitting it.

He'd say that...and he wouldn't have a leg to stand on.

The SEC is so damn overrated.
