Yes, some people act like it is as easy as going down to your local Texaco and picking up a spark plug.

We make it harder than it needs to be ... chronic underattention to the DT position. Last time we had decent starters and depth at DT was the Browncos first year, 2005.

Seems we can go down to our local Texaco and pick up a mechanic that can do a better job than Fua.

My gf makes it harder than it needs to be.

I get over it.

I wouldn't say that for this regime. We drafted Wolfe,Jackson and Williams. We signed Knighton and kept Vickerson.
Could we spend more picks on DT's? yes but it's not like it was under Shanny or even McDaniels.

If Williams does his job...then Fua won't see the field much. So....no worries.

That's the crux of it. Williams has looked better in recent weeks, but now he will work into the regular rotation and we really, really, really need him to perform well.

Isn't defensive tackle one of those positions with a steep learning curve?

Another challenge for rookies is that they're only one year removed from college football and this is the time of year the college schedule winds down and takes a break before the bowl season. From what I've read in the past, rookies seem to have a body clock that winds down about this time as well.

I hope that's not the case with Williams, and I thinks it's a positive that he's been used sparingly this season because he has fresh legs. Whether or not that translates to performance is anyone's guess.

No Vickerson no Wolfe, Broncos better how Sylverster Willimans can play. The injuries are starting to catch up to the Broncos.

I was surprised we didn't bring back Sealver Siliga or Justin Bannan. This Fua dude looks like complete **** on film. Wonder if the change in scenery magically morphs him.
