Said no one last year when the Redskins won the division for the first time in ages with a rookie QB and an unfair 20 mill cap penalty and a litany of injuries on both sides of the ball.

I have no idea which way you go with McDaniels since you always are backing him with your opinion. If you see my post, I actually ended it by thinking you might be correct.

I know you are comparing the current Shanny with McDaniels and not the great Shanny from many years past. You are dealing with some fans that live in the past when things change in the current. The difference is that guys like Cutler are considered a douche by many Broncos fans. Shanny isn't some A-hole. While he is toast, he isn't a bad guy and we should all wish him well.

I guarantee a win against the chiefs.

Skins can hang with that kc offense. They will pull that game out

Well.....mine (and Rev's) at least.
I thought Jay would grow up, but that was 6 years ago. His potential never materialized and is going to end up being worse than Plummer. I didn't agree with the drafting of Cutler and still don't, Shanny made a dumb decision moving up for him and it was the beginning of his demise.

His stunted growth was from Lovie and the beating he let him take for years, imo.

I don't think Lovie was at fault for that, rather than Martz playcalling. He's been through several OC's and while he's taken a beating with sacks. The Bears have tried to give Cutler what he wanted by bringing in his old friends like Earl Bennett, Marshall, Jeremy Bates. Overall, his career is pretty underwhelming with the expectations he was given when drafted where he was.

Also Ted Sundquist confirms my belief that Cutler was given the keys to the Broncos offense before he was ready to do so. I think that more than anything else stunted his growth.

Ah, that draft was epic. The rumblings, the rumors, the Requiem Prophecy did happen.
