Why does anyone care if he is making what some believe to be a "stupid move"....it's not like you're the one paying him or suffering because he isn't making $1,000,000

There are still practices, and even though they are not what they once were, there is still a risk of injury. To him, the rewards were not worth the risks.

I could definitely see where football would be extremely tough if viewed as just a job, if you didn't really enjoy it.

John Moffitt picks up a camera and films hia teammates. Obviously, he is searching for some answers from his peers, but what? An interview? A backhanded joke? No, Moffitt wanted something with meaning.

The Tao of Brosweiler.

Near the end of the "realrobreport", Moffitt happens upon Brock Osweiler, who is happily munching on a burrito doused with Cholula. Moffitt ponders the choice of hot sauce (Cholula vs. Tabasco), then asks Osweiler, "Is money the most important thing to you".

Osweiler, pausing between bites, emphatically responds "NO!".

Moffitt asks, "What's more important?"

"The quality of life", says the backup QB, and takes another bite of his burrito covered in hot sauce.

Indeed it is, Brosweiler. Indeed it is.

Moffitt retired within days.

His editor, who has probably never seen a professional sports game in his life, probably "corrected" the mistake every time NFL was typed.

John Moffitt, the former Broncos and Seahawks offensive lineman who drew attention for walking away from the game at age 27 last season, has been arrested in Chicago.

Moffitt is accused of punching a man in the head and possessing marijuana, cocaine and ecstasy, according to DNAInfo.com. He was charged with two felony drug possession counts, one misdemeanor battery count and one misdemeanor pot possession count.

The victim said he confronted Moffitt about selling drugs inside a Chicago nightclub and that Moffitt became “combative” and hit him, according to the report.

Less than a year ago, Moffitt pleaded guilty to misdemeanor disorderly conduct after a series of incidents in which he was twice accused of urinating in public and once accused of criminal trespass.

Quit the NFL to be a drug dealer. Man you don't need to quit the league for that. You just have to go play for the Seahawks or Patriots.

you know the raiders are insignificant when they can't even get the punchline in a drug dealing joke.

Yeah I never thought of them. Sad they used to be such a feared team and our main nemesis.

personally I'd love to see the Raiders back and these annoying Charger fans gone.

Maybe he's been hanging out with Jimmy Irsay?

CARMEL, Ind. -- Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay has been arrested on suspicion of drunken driving, authorities said Monday.

Remember that show Playmakers on ESPN. You know the one the NFL complained was unrealistic.

Hell some non NFL channel needs to pick that show back up.

Can any of you think of a good plot for episode 1. How about something really crazy like a player murdering a guy, and another one quitting his team to be a drug dealer. Then maybe we could spice it up with some gay player coming out of the closet and his team hazing him for it. Ok that hasn't happened I did what they always do, take two characters and combine them.
