The Kansas City Chiefs are like a worse version of the Trent Dilfer Baltimore Ravens. A much worse version.

And it isn't 2000 anymore. The league has changed.

They don't have a tight end like Shannon Sharpe, even at the end of his career. They're also not as elite in the secondary. Good comparison.

they're the 2011 49ers, not the 2000 Ravens.

and they're not as good as those Niners, either.

Buddy was calling them Ravens lite all night.

Basically the Baltimore Ravens if they had a B+ instead of an A+ defense. Which in a normal NFL year would be a 10-6 or 11-5 team. Because of how the stars have aligned, the Chefs will probably go 12-4 or 13-3.

This is accurate. That team had a 2,000 yard rusher.

We're somewhat like the 2001 Bears. Alex Smith is our Jim Miller, and we've had an incredibly streaky run of luck.

At least he didn't take a sack. I remember a game against Trent Green where he took a sack on fourth down. That's pretty lame.

Yeah but Trent Green was a real QB. He was leading the league in passing when Alex was still ****ting his pants at Utah.

This idiot is literally going to piss away the balance of the careers of Jamaal Charles and Dwayne Bowe. And Tamba Hali. And Derrick Johnson.

He's Cassel II, just without the turnovers.

It sickens me.

I'll have to take solace in your eventual playoff loss. But enjoy the division title!

BOWE? Are you serious? He's a dime a dozen talent at WR.

Nah...he's a very good #2 on pretty much any team. He's just not an elite receiver.

Smith is a more athletic version of Kyle Orton. The ****ty part for KC is they traded for him.

We've got a lot more of these coming. Andy has sold himself on Alex, and that move (which I doubt he'd fix even if he could) will cost him a lot...

Alex is simply a horrible QB playing behind an equally horrible (but could at least be replaced), with WRs who won't catch those few that he even gets close.

We have JC, that's it. Whomever said defense wins championships didn't have Alex Smith and this Oline to deal with!

Thread title should read "Bob gets 1/1000 right, and naturally it's the one that requires luck and zero analysis"

Tell me again that Denver can't rush on KC's D, Bob? Over 100 yards and 2 rushing TDs later...

Thankfully, they had the #1 overall last year and they're too mediocre to get a good QB next year.

....and Alex Smith needs a Vernon Davis. If the Chiefs had managed to hold on to Tony G, this KC team would probably be dangerous.

or the 2007 bears with Kyle Orton and Rex Grossman. They definitely had a string of lucky defensive turnovers and scores. I think they had a game where they came back from being down 21 pts without scoring an offensive point.

To make matters worse, the Chiefs had to cough up an ADDITIONAL first-round pick...

Here's some footage of what Chiefs WRs look like as they practice on the jugs machine:

Sorry but number 2 WR are a dime a dozen when you are talking about a players career being wasted by a ****ty QB. No one is going to say wow too bad Bowe didn't have a better QB, he would have been special. he's not special. IMO when looking at the big picture of NFL players Bowe is dime a dozen. I have seen 200 WR as good as him in my 35 yrs as a football fan. He's not worthy of mentioning the way that Chief fan rated him.
