Come on now. KC was 9-0 before they rolled into Milehigh after their bye week. They don't suck. They swallow.

Here are the problems with that:

1) Homefield advantage is widely considered to be worth ~3 points by those that follow this stuff.

2) Even if you want to make an argument that KC's homefield is worth more than that (which it might be) it's not worth more than the two TDs that Denver is better than your team in general.

3) Your team got outclassed by a Bronco team that played a bad game.

4) Losing a game to the team you are trying to beat out for the division is always bad.

5) You are a retard

I expect a much different outcome in two weeks. But its funny how the mantra from KC fan has gone from, we are going to destroy manning, and Charles is going to run wild, and our D sucks, to well it was only 10 points we lost by and well um see what happens in two weeks.

Your defense was DESTROYED.

When are you going to realize your team is massively outclassed right now? I mean I get rooting for your team to pull off the upset, but predicting them to win so boldly? It just makes you look dumb.

To put it more simply: we have Peyton Manning and you have Alex Smith. You should probably wait to get cocky when it's Brock Osweiler versus Alex Smith. Then we'll be on a more even playing field most likely.

I love chiefs fans whining.

According to these inbreds across the net the game was rigged.

KC's D IS NOT ELITE! It's good, but hardly 'elite'. Good gawd...how long have you been watching football? You've played one of it not THE softest schedule so far this year. Not to mention all the backup QB's. This has all conspired in skewing the stats & building up expectations.

You do realize that the Broncos entire O-line is a patchwork of 2nd & 3rd stringers & players moved around due to injuries. Our QB is gimpy with both ankles dinged (one wrapped like a cast). An 'elite' Defense wouldn't let us score like we did on the chiefies and allow mannings uniform to stay so clean.

I honestly don't care about the talking points of other silly fans on the internet. however if you talked to me my view of the situation has changed very little. And I talked about it here on OM.

Exposed as a description is almost as overused as choking. The game was what most people thought it was going to be.

Denver's O held to their smallest points output while Chiefs D gave up more than they had.

All the pressure was on Denver and they got a deserved win.

Is there elite defense in today's NFL?

All you can do is judge the bell curve of the other 30+ teams right?

Your team relies on the mistakes of its opponents in order to win games. There's nothing wrong with that, and you'll have some success doing so, but it doesn't make you a very good team.

From a match up standpoint, I didn't see anything tonight that indicated that KC is going to win the rubber match at Arrowhead. Obviously Arrowhead in December is a difficult place to play in December, but I just don't see KC's offense doing enough to win them a game.

Bottom line is that KC couldn't generate a pass rush against a gimpy PFM and a backup LT completely shut Hali the **** down (often in one-on-one situations with no help). What's lost in the victory is that Manning had an off game by Manning Standards, multiple players were hurt in the 2nd half including Welker and JT, and it was still a double digit victory and probably not as close as the 10 point margin indicated.

What I saw was a pretty good defense (not great) and a terrible offense. KC will lose 3 more games this season. Bank on it.

This would have been a close game if you were the New Orleans Saints.

Down three scores with five or six minutes left is not something your offense can overcome. Stop kidding yourself. The game was out of reach when Kansas City opted to punt the ball rather than go for the short fourth down without about ten minutes left to play.

Why do you have to use qualifiers to try and convince me it wasn't a close game? The final score is what it is.

Close game =

10 point loss
never leading
down by 17 in the fourth Q.

SERIOUSLY WE MUST DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE KANSAS CITY SCHOOL SYSTEM.
