One immediate gripe: As is currently set up, Von and Wes default start out of their "real positions." Get a clue EA.

Would love to hear what audibles and formations people use, general strategy, play calling, etc. Especially for the Broncos. I suck.

Big thx. (Im on PS3, if that matters.)
sliders, man. it plays so much better with good slider sets and some experimentation when you get some. operationsports.com has some and you can download some from the file sharing. just try some out till you find some that feel right.

No, when you hot-route smart routes, they go to the first down. Like running a hook route they'll get the first instead of like 5 yards. Or an In/Out route.

Is worth upgrade from the PS3 version, because reading the reviews it seems to be a slight improvement only and not worth another 60 bucks. I understand FiFa 14 is the sports game that really really rocks on the next gen systems.

Default Apparently Madden thinks a lot of Brock Oswieler's potential

I created a QB in franchise player mode. Spent Peyton's last year pumping his stats from weekly practice points. But once Manning retired I could never surplant Brock for the starting job. No matter how much I pumped his stats Brock stayed a couple steps ahead.

Well it depends who you bought it from, but I know Amazon and Gamestop offered $10 upgrades with trade in.

I think it is worth it, but I only play Madden... the game plays differently on the next gen, better zone coverages on defense, better oline & dline play, better run game & it looks amazing

Having a hell of a time connecting with Peyton to DT when he has single coverage (with no safety help). Really annoying its incomplete of picked every time.

Anybody have any advice? Should I lob it or dart it? (I've tried both with no success).

Unrealistic that Manning can't take advantage of single coverage up to on DT. (Way more success with Welker, after moving him to the slot.)

Big thx.

Are you pass leading with the stick when you throw these passes?

Not necessarily up but any direction. Say DT beats single coverage on the left sideline. You should pass lead Northwest ( up and left) which would make it a pass over his shoulder, toward the sideline and away from the defender.

There are so many variables that come into play when you pass lead. Always be mindful of the defenders position, QB feet are set and the timing of whether to lob it or throw a bullet.

Thx. So in the example above, you would pry lob it, right? (say DT is 20 yards downfield).

I would definitely lob because the pass lead will make DT run under it. If you throw a bullet, you run the risk of having the DB turn around and make a play.

It also depends on the route. Let's say its an in route starting from the left side of the formation. If you pass lead Southeast (down and right), the pass would be low and away from the defender.

You should def play around with it bro. Some routes are downright unfair with pass leading. I havent touched madden 25 but last year TE seam routes with pass leading to the inside was filthy. You could get it over the LB and between the safety.
