Miss State looking good vs Alabama. Not sure how long it will last but their defense is on it. SC giving fits to Stanford in 2nd quarter, 14 to 7 and SC ball.

Ed Orgeron making it hard for Haden to look elsewhere for a coach. He's really turned USC around from the Lane Kiffin dead zone. SC leads Stanford by 10.

Florida St is the best team, and it isn't real close.

USC should win that game. They are playing at a high level right now and will be at home.

Take away the intern head coach label for Coach O. Pat Haden has a tough decision to make but this guy is SC through and through. If he doesn't get the job at SC, he might be a good candidate for many schools looking in a new direction.

So, when USC beats UCLA, how far up do they go?

I would have put USC higher than 17 except that I have to keep in mind that they have 3 losses (UCLA has 2 at present). They are playing like a different team now but you have to factor in all aspects of the picture. As it is, I have them the highest of any 3 loss team in the poll by far.

I expect them to win out and they will prolly end up in my Top 14, even with 3 losses.

I'm amazed at the difference Orgeron has made there. I can't believe they would bypass him for an outside pick at this point.

Orgeron is a good recruiter but failed in an extended stint as HC at Ole Miss. I think they are playing on emotion right now/relief from Kiffin. I think Haden will ultimately go in a different direction. They want a big name and have allotted up to 6m per year for a home run hire (this salary would be the highest in CFB). Orgeron will likely be offered a substantial raise and associate HC position.

Damn, a huge jump for Oklahoma State by you. They are playing fantastic of late though.
I really hope people start voting for Florida State, they are CLEARLY the best team. Alabama is still good, but some of the players are drastically overrated. The defense is definitely not overrated, they are fantastic. It wouldn't surprise me now if Auburn upsets Alabama.
I also see Baylor losing to Oklahoma St or Texas at least.

I just don't understand how you have Clemson or OK State over Oregon. Oregon stumbled against Standford but it was close on the road. Clemson got destroyed by FSU at home and OK State struggled big time against Baylor.

I wonder who we would hire as DC if Del Rio gets the USC gig.
He seems to be the one big name candidate who actually wants the job.

If only Lovie Smith would take our DC job(Should Del Rio leave)
