Knowshon plowed in for a td in that EXACT situation just before that drive and in every other similar situation this season. He`s a very good goal line runner actually.

He doesn't have a skill set. He's not fast enough or shifty enough or powerful enough or big enough. And he fumbles and can't pass protect.

Huge waste, can't imagine what the hell Elway was thinking trading UP to get this clown.

I hope he gets beat up by his own mother.

Enough already.
That was Ball. Hillman has fumbled at least twice or thrice this year but this one was the only one he or someone did not revover...and cost us the game

To be fair to Elway, Jack likes Hillman an awful lot. An awful lot.

I am not defending Hillman because I think he has been pedestrian at best, but why woulf the coaches put him in for a goaline situation? Moreno was making pads crack and pushing people back, why put in Hillman?

I am stil trying to work that out. We never should have ran in that situation anyway given the clock, but if you are going to, the only RB to move a pile and has a nose for the GL is Moreno. If its a pass, the best pass blocking RB is Moreno. If its ball security, the best back for that is Moreno. Boneheaded decision by the CS.

Oh I agree Knowshon should absolutely have been in there at the goal line, but Hillman was giving us some Fred Taylor/Warrick Dunn if you catch my drift.

if he isnt cut or put on IR by the end of the day im gonna be pissed. they need to send a message to the rest of these guys that turnovers are unacceptable. i dont know why they keep giving him chances every game especially in the redzone with the game on the line.

RB's with little skinny arms like his always have trouble holding on to the ball. He doesn't bring much to the table give Montee a shot again.

He's a liability. He needs to go. Addition by subtraction.

I felt better when Lance Ball was the backup rb.

I think fox needs to do to Hillman what he did to Knowshon last year--plunk his arse down on the bench--even in street clothes--and see if he rises to the challenge or not. It did Knowshon a world of good, maybe it can help Hillman as well.

The difference is KM has always had the tools to be a good RB while it seems that Hillman may be too small of hand to physically hold on to the ball against NFL defenses. His smallish hands and short arms may make him physically unable to secure the ball no matter the amount of training. Unfortunately Holiday may had the same handicap but at least he has huge upside to off set the limitation whereas it's hard to say that about Hillman.

If CJ is ready I think it's time to see what he can do.

Hillman/Ball, as high draft picks coming into the league should already be making big plays. They are not, and they are not getting it done.

Give the other kid a chance.

I would put Hillman on the inactive and promote CJ, though I would have CJ as 3rd string... I believe that Monte is gonna get it going in the second half

What the most annoying thing for me is when the announcers say that "Hillman can take it to the house anytime." Yet he has NEVER done this!!!!

Oh he can take it to the house but like FedEx he leaves the package at the front door.

In fact let's call him FedEx because he always drops the package at the front door.

I'm done with the Hillman experiment for this year. Ball/Anderson need to get his reps to see what we've got. I'm sick of how careless we are with the ball. I've never seen so many fumbles from the wr's to the hbs and returners.

Seriously, this is a major problem. What it takes to fix, I don't know.
