I loved Bum for all but the game where his Oilers and Earl Campbell beat us in the playoffs back in '79. That game was a street brawl.

Yeah, we held Earl to only 50 yards rushing and our defense knocked him and QB Dan Pastorini out in the 2nd half, but Rob Carpenter (father of former Ohio State LB, and former 1st rd pick of the Cowboys Bobby Carpenter) had 59 yards in his place....Broncos lost 13-7.

Goodell would have fined him 100k unless it was a Nike produced cowboy hat, and Florio would have written 47 articles calling him a racist since cowboys were mean to indians.

that is funny. I wasn't sure he still wouldn't wear one and just pay the fine.

Brian Cushing should call it quits and just go the David Boston work-out warrior route. His workouts are turning him into a beast, but not a football beast.

Wow.

Some huuuuge injuries this weekend. Not cool!

But yeah, lets start playing 18 game schedules and have double headers on Thursdays.

Kenneth Stanley “Bud” Adams Jr., the Tennessee Titans owner who has been a significant figure in professional football for more than half a century, has died at the age of 90.

Adams, who founded the Houston Oilers at the outset of the American Football League, had owned his franchise longer than any other current NFL owner, a few months ahead of fellow AFL originator Ralph Wilson of the Bills. Adams owned the team in Houston from 1960 until 1996, then moved the franchise to Tennessee in 1997.

Multiple media outlets reported on Monday morning that Adams has died of natural causes.

He wanted Manning so badly. He was even willing to give him a stake in the team to sign with Tenn. if I remember correctly. RIP.
