Woodson's deal is worth a maximum of $4.3 million and includes a $700,000 signing bonus for one year.

That is a lot of coin, but damn, I'd at least want a chance to compete for a title. He knew full well they weren't going anywhere.

You know I started to feel a little sorry for him last night, and then I remembered he turned us down this offseason and I laughed at him instead.

There was a point that they focused on his face and it basically said "well, ****"

He would have been a decent addition, but whatever...enjoy the basement.

I don't think it bothers him that much. Being out here in his winery compound makes up for the losing.

Honestly, it sounded to me like he just wanted to play and not be a rotational guy... being near his wineries and stuff was a bonus.

His trophy case is already pretty full.

Yeah I think he likes Oakland, likes California, had already literally accomplished everything anyone can probably do in football at any level, and decided to just go where he liked to be. The money didn't hurt either.

I remember when he was interviewed, before the game. I sat there, calling him "burnt toast". My wife had no idea what I was saying...

So, I told her to go to the kitchen and fix me a sammich...

Agreed.. if I had a Heisman, a Lombardi, a National Championship ring, and damn near every other award you can win, it would come down to money/weather
