For whatever it's worth..

But he's rebounded well this year in Indianapolis, blocking for Andrew Luck and running backs Donald Brown and Vick Ballard and ranking in the top-20 among tackles in the Pro Football Reference ratings (he's only allowed one quarterback hit and zero sacks).

You wouldn't. I asked the question before news broke that Clady is on IR.

Thanks for posting, makes me feel a tiny bit better. But the fact that he was out of work until now speaks more loudly to me unfortunately. Hopefully Clark is good enough that he never sees the field and it doesn't matter.

Hopefully Clark can stay healthy and do a suitable job until Kuper and/or Walton return. If we can shift the line around and move another player to OT, we won't have to find out how good or poor Justice really is.

I'm not a big Justice fan, but then again he is Plan C and there aren't a lot of other options.

I view it as a signing that had to be done. We need a backup to Clark now.

Broncos signed OT Winston Justice to a one-year contract.
With Ryan Clady (Lisfranc) out indefinitely, the Broncos are thin at tackle. They're going to use Chris Clark on Peyton Manning's blindside and turn Justice into a swing tackle. Justice graded out as PFF's No. 45 tackle last season while playing in 12 games for the Colts. He's been on the street since free agency opened. Sep 18 - 11:10 AM

Hopefully we can coach him up to be adequate if called upon. I feel good about our staff in this regard.

I just pray we've already done do with Clark and we won't need Justice to see the field.

If Winston Justice ever sees the field as a LT, the team is in real trouble. He's flat out terrible.

So we have Clady out on IR for the season and a Jim Bob Cooter invasion-spooner-from-hicksville walking our sidelines?

Wonderful

Fortunately, they signed him at the minimum. At least he can't be another IHOP.

Good god.

He gave up like 5 or 6 sacks in a Giants/Beagles game awhile back.

Might as well give him a jersey that says "Revolving Door" on it.

If we're down to our third string tackle we're screwed anyway.

Or just give him George Foster's old jersey.

Dreesen will be our 3rd tackle on the field. Expect him to be babysitting Clark quite a bit.

Justice is terrible but he or the guy replacing Clady can't be worse than Mike Harris, who started LT last year for the Chargers. And they still won 7 games with Norv's sh*t offense.

Broncos should still run away with this division with all the talent they have.

Agree, but I understand where he's coming from. Wolfpack lives in my area and it was a huge story here at the time.

We really should. If, within 4-6 weeks, through Manning and Magazu's help.....Clark can become 70% of what Clady was.....we will be totally fine.

We still have the best offense in the AFC, bar none. And our good defense will continue to get better, especially with Von and Champ coming back.

C'mon you ****in' Nancy's........this is only a bump in the road on the way to the Superbowl.
