I'd say that warrants taking him to the ground with force... but why a cop would punch a dude in the face - especially on camera - after he is pinned is beyond me.
If he assaulted an officer, anything goes. He's lucky he didn't get shot. And that was hardly a KO blow the officer threw anyway. They should have put a frickin choke hold on the dude. That works better then any tazer would. Sleepy time MF'er. But it sure took 3 cops long enough to get that taken care of. Once the man assaulted the officer, it's physical time. Playtime is over. Pull out the clubs and 1 crack to the back of the ribs. Ask the guy again to comply. If he doesn't, another crack to the ribs. He would eventually get the message.

Yeah I've got no problem with that.

That dude was beyond effed up. I mean... he was wearing a Chiefs jersey.

When will people learn how to use their ****ty iphones. Record horizontally, sheeple.

I also don't understand the stupid mentality lately that EVERYTHING is police brutality. The 'tard is clearly resisting and not listening, albeit he is probably drunk, but still he should be listening to the cops. If he did he could of prevented this whole spectacle.

People record vertically because that's how you normally hold your phone (phone, text, web, pretty much everything but some games and video), you have to get used to switching to hortizonal for pics/vid.

Anyways, the best part of the video is when he's clearly trying to pull his (ziptied?) hands back under himself while saying "I'M NOT RESISTING!"

Hmmm, so that's the secret.... I'll just bust into someone's house and when I'm walking out with half of their electronics I'll just shout, "I'M NOT STEALING!" and that's it, there is nothing they can do!

Well. He is a Chief's fan. Maybe he doesn't know what "resisting" means?

Speaking of which, my favorite part in ALL these "Police using excessive force" videos is when some half wasted chick screams "STOP IT,... NO! ... He's NOT RESISTING"

Always makes me laugh that the same "screamer" wasn't around 5 minutes earlier when the "victim" was doing whatever got them into this situation!

Thank you! Always record horizontally unless you are in a small space that prevents you from fitting the subject in the picture. It's common sense.

Unfortunately police brutality exists but I agree with you. The vast majority of the time, the person brings it upon themselves by being unruly or resisting arrest.

The guy tried to bite the Officer and that's exactly why he got a love-tap in the face. I thought the officers handled it well.

Actually you don't have to.

Some dumbass cops threaten/arrest/intimidate people all the time without having their badges on display.

A reasonable action for most Chief fans I'd say. Can't hurt to be to cautious. They can save the live rounds for Raider fans.

That's not what I mean.

I mean these guys need to go home and be with their families after their shift and they shouldn't have to have a bloody body from doing their jobs because some drunk dick head can't be a good citizen.

No they shouldn't, but fair or not, that's just the nature of the job. Cops do have it tough because it's easier to label/stereotype a uniform than it is with race/religion etc.

I will say though, scum is scum, just like honorable/responsible people are just that. A badge doesn't change that.
