Full disclosure: Reid scares me.

Fortunately, every other facet of that franchise is pretty laughable to me.

Reid hasn't been the same without defensive coordinator Jim Johnson.

Never really was that impressed with Reid. Seemed like a narrow minded coach who was unwilling to make adjustments that most of the time led to them getting beat in important games. If the plan worked they did well if not , O well keep doing the same crap. And after Johnson passed they was craptastic most of the time.

The same Reid that spent millions turning the Eagles from a Superbowl team into a 4-12 team. Yeah he really scares me.

Charles and Bowe are laughable?

We have a sizable bank of defensive talent to boot.

Also, we are going to have the best special teams in the league this year.

This guy has done wonders with our ST.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dave_Toub

Quote:
Toub joined the Chicago Bears coaching staff on January 24, 2004. He was hired as the special teams coordinator. On February 27, 2007, Toub signed a three-year extension with the Chicago Bears, keeping him under contract through the 2009 season.

The Bears' special team's unit was highly successful in 2006; kicker Robbie Gould, return specialist Devin Hester, and gunner Brendon Ayanbadejo were voted to the 2007 Pro Bowl. On April 5, 2007, Toub was voted special teams coach of the year by his peers.[3] His special teams unit was ranked at the top of the league for the 2006 and 2007 seasons.[4]

For the last eight years, the Bears special teams have been in the top three, and was ranked third by rankings performed by the Dallas Morning News.[5]
The blocking is OUTSTANDING. We had FOUR different returners break off huge ass ****ing gainers this preseason.

Of course we already have the best punter in the league, and Ryan Succop is a damn good kicker.

I don't know how good our passing game is gonna be, but I know we will run the ball, and I know our defense is going to be decent. Add in what I GUARANTEE will be a BADASS special teams unit, and we can surprise people.

However, I still think it's a 7-9 team. But the possibility of surprising people exists.

You guys can't afford to slip up. If you do, and I've underestimated these Chiefs, it's gonna be a tight division race.

I can't watch the video at work - is there a scene of Andy screaming "Avenge Me!" after getting thrown out of a Golden Corral?

Reid Dawn with Swayze and Emilio's brother was so much better than the Reid Dawn remake they made last year.

Lot of hype on that video with the Star Wars music in the background just for a possible 3rd place finish. Go get 'em Tigers!

Claiming to be no worse than SD at football is like claiming to be no shorter than a midget - not exactly saying much.
