Its absurd.
I felt at the time, and have no reason to feel any differently now, that the officials were pulling the old "keeping it close" routine. Denver had a chance to pull away multiple time throughout the game and an incredibly qusetionable PI extended an early Raven drive and incredibly questionable holding calls would nullify a late-game 1st down.
Yet the PI on the pick 6 was completely ignored. And the OTs held Denver's edge rushers. And every close call that I could think of went Baltimore's way.

Despite all that, Denver still pissed down its leg, I agree. But it def seemed like the officials were doing their part to keep it entertaining.

Baltimore defense is going to be so much better in the front seven.

The DLine is stout. Ngata should have been playing NT from day one, he's physical, yet slippery. That's a nightmare I am worried about.

There's a nice balance of run stoppers and pass rushers in rotation. They are soft on the edges outside the LBs and in the middle between the LBs and safeties. I would also challenge Jimmy Smith all day.

I see a BIG day for Welker.

Hey, it can happen. Look at the Bears. They don't have Butkus anymore, but they have had a pretty good d the past few years.

The Gianst were without LT in 2007, but their d looked elite when they held the patriots in check in the Super Bowl.

Sometimes a d is alright when it doesn't have its aging defensive icon on the field.

I think even Raven fans would admit Lewis hurt them more than helped last year.

Yes that's why they got so much better when he came back from injury.

I think both Flacco and Nalen make good points. Nalen has won two rings and is worth listening to.
Shut up Dwight and go back to your beet farm, damn hillbilly.

Besides isn't Manning one of the biggest pranksters on the team?

Stokley came out of retirement to reunite with Manning - he must love the abuse.

Same with Lilja, a center no less. He must really like abuse.

I wonder what he thought of Lee Evans after the 2012 AFC CG. I doubt it was any better than Manning yelling something at a guy.

What a dumb ass! PM is one of the best ever....so, to make a statement like Flacco has is asinine. Clearly PM's approach has been effective. And, kudos to the Ravens for getting another ring...but, that (nor a $100m) will ever make me believe that Flacco is a top 5 QB. He better hope he gets better and can someday get close to Peyton in stature on a football field.

Best way to handle this scenario though....is to shut his mouth on opening day!

before you jump off the deep end and go to name calling...oh... wait... to late...

I WAS AGREEING WITH YOU about the conspiracy theory being absurd!

The idea the the NFL has credibility with fans is as absurd as the conspiracy theory your arguing against.

Flacco can say whatever he wants. He's the reigning SB Champ. Problem is, nobody cares or are interested in what he says. Flacco needs to get to another SB to get a lot more recognition and talk.

It really shows guys like Cutler/Rivers haven't done anything and really nobody cares about them.
