Danny Dillard now off the team too. Damn....they are really freeing the roster of deadweight in anticipation of sanctions. I know Golden wants to sign a big ass class and still leave room for the sanctions. To do that you got to play well below the 85.

I think right now they are at 76 kids on scholarship. I would be surprised if they were hit with more than 15 ships. I think that would be the limit. I hope for 9-12. At 15 , divided over 3 years that's 5 per year, so you gotta play at 80.

We will lose about 18 to graduation and 2 early to the draft this year, that's 20. Takes you down to 56 or 55 as I expect one more kid to be purged. So you can still sign 25 and play at 80 if some enroll early and count to last years total rather than this years.

This is all roster management.

I'm kind of excited to see what the Razorbacks are going to be like this coming season... I have no idea what to expect.

Freshman Trevor Knight was named the starting QB for the Sooners' opener instead of Blake Bell.

I'm kinda surprised but also excited this kid is good

Miami commits Chad Thomas Demetrius Jackson and Nigel Bethel playing very well on ESPN right now for No. 1 Booker T. Washington...which leads No. 6 Norcross 27-0 at the half.

Chad Thomas is an animal. They've got him at DT instead of DE and he is destroying the interior OL. FSU commit Treon Harris also playing well.

They moved Thomas back to DE and he just shed two blocks and made a TFL. Already has a sack and a couple TFL.

Lol....I love how the staff is trying to mess with fans heads and opponents with these depth charts they release using the 4-3.

24....Muschump officially reduced Morrison's suspension from 2 games to 1. You can now admit that he's scared and a puss.

Remember this name: Al Quadin Muhammad.

He's already getting some older kids to transfer because he passed them up in one camp. This guy will be a freshman All American. He has been abusing Seantrel Henderson. "Quan" is an animal.

Remember the name......kid will be a top pick after his Jr year.

Half-Hearted Effort

It's clear the NCAA never had anything on Johnny Manziel. What's even less substantial is his penalty. Chris Low Manziel suspended for half

NCAA is a joke

I can see why players like Dez Bryant and Terrelle Pryor would be pissed about the treatment of Johnny Manziel by the NCAA compared to them.

Dez Bryant and Terrelle Pryor got the shaft for less serious violations that what Manziel did and Manziel will only have to sit for a half against Rice?

I think the NCAA is hypocritical to begin with and think they need to change the way these violations are dealt with, but they need to treat players equally.

Manziel took cash for signing over 4,000 autographs....probably a buttload of cash. Dez Bryant ate lunch with Deion Sanders and lied about it (and I'm sure Sanders was probably trying to nudge him towards his agent) and Terrelle Pryor traded some autographs/memorabilia for some tats.

Meanwhile its been 2.5 years and the NCAA is dragging it out against us.

SEC QB? Not much to see here. A 2 week investigation and a joke of a penalty.

He's obviously scared or else he wouldn't have done that 24. I'd be scared of our offense too if I were him.

Bottom line is he is dickless. Which isn't surprising considering where he works.

It amazes me how many stories there have been about potential NCAA violations in the SEC over the last 5 years and very little has been done. If I'm a president of a university, I deny, lawyer up and fail to cooperate. Can't believe Ohio St. football players received 5 game suspensions for their illegal benefits, which is similar to what Dez and AJ Green received and this douche bag gets one half against Rice. I'm sure his families financial status had nothing to do with it. **** the NCAA.

I think the key is none of the autograph dealers/brokers/whatever wanted to confirm they paid Manziel to the NCAA because this stuff probably happens a lot, and would hinder the profitability in the future.
I mean, seriously, no college athlete is going to spend hours signing stuff and NOT receive money for doing it. However, there was probably really no clear evidence against Manziel other than the buttload of auto's on the market and some claims from dealers/brokers second hand.

Honestly though, I have a feeling A&M and Manziel have a crash this season. Something just feels off this year with him, and he's going to have a down year resulting in A&M going down.

I honestly think the UGA game could go either way and you have the slightest of edges due to being at home.

If Clemson wins they will have a very good year, except until the ACCCG.

Johnny did it. But, there may be no proof of money transactions.

It's pretty obvious if you have been around a major college football school these players are taken care of by boosters.

Lane Kiffins offensive playcalling is awful so far. 3rd and 6 from the Hawaii 20.....run. Go for it on 4th and 4 rather than chip shot FG. Next possession 3rd and goal from the 4 they take Lee off the field and run it. Lol
