If he was such an integral part of the defense, why did they cut him, add two in free agency and draft a MLB?

Probably cause he's getting AARP? That age at QB you can get away with. At MLB? Not so much.

Depends on what the goal of the team was. You can say an old MLB helped get us to the divisional playoffs

In an odd twist, Stewart Bradley could not beat out Lenon the past two seasons in Arizona at middle linebacker. Bradley was the Broncos' starting middle linebacker until he suffered a left wrist injury Saturday that required surgery.

And now Lenon was brought in with the intent of replacing him again.

Pretty funny we were gonna roll with Bradley. We already know that Lenon > Bradley cause well, he beat him out according to that article.

And somehow we went 13-3 winning the majority of our games by more than a TD. We survived just fine.

That is the definition of a solid player when you can bounce from team to team every year and always find work. Its hard to find work after you get cut because there are a 100 people just like you looking for a job.

I know there were improvements this year but I'm not sure which is the better team. Hard to say when ones played into 13-3 while the other is having a bad offseason TC/preseason. Mcgahee helped out alot. Healthy clady Oline. Etc I'd like to think this team is better but last year was a pretty good one.

I am not content with Irving starting at SAM. I'd much prefer Phillips there. I'm not concerned about stopping the run as I am our pass rush.

Lennon shouldn't beat out WW at MIKE. But Phillips needs to be a starter and I'd prefer that be at SAM.

I guess we have a different way of looking at things. Again, if he was good teams wouldn't have just let him walk, like AZ did.

Dude, he's played 11 seasons. Not 16. Ray Lewis was still very much a dominating LB in season 12. If our bigs up front can be solid, Lenon will work out just fine. I don't know why he's played for so many teams. I don't know why AZ cut him. All I know is I watched about 12 full Cardinal games last year and he played well. I don't think you get 103 tackles playing like crap.

If he sucked he never would have been in the league so long.

this doesn't mean he's "good" it just means he doesn't completely suck.

Maybe you're just not reading the part where he had 103 tackles last year. That's a long way from "not sucking".
