I hope I am wrong but I think it could be an injury to worry about.

The way he just threw his helmet on the ground right after the play I knew he hurt himself pretty bad after I saw that.

Hopefully it is minor and hes back soon in the regular season.
There was no reason for champ to be in the game that late. That was a bonehead mistake by the coaching staff. I'm not buying the whole linsfrac angle though. From what I saw he wasn't around anyone to fall or step on his foot. Seems more of a twist sprain type thing but we will see.

Yes and no.....the broncos first unit defense didn't get a lot of work in the first half

Ya but how much time does champ actually need? He's older and he already is seasoned in knowing what he's supposed to do. True it gets him into football shape but so does practice/camp. I would've played him in the 3rd game a little more. I think Harbaugh has the right idea with these preseason games. Play your stars for one series in the first 2 games. Then you won't have to watch them drop like flies. There are too many knee injuries etc this year. Would be wise to hold restraint on a couple keys players.

Haha. I'm definitely considering selling my house and quitting my job to become a bum on the nearest corner. All neck injuries are serious business.

Classy. Still associating one of the hardest working, all around good guys on the team with such a horrible, life ruining substance.

And after the man just went to the hospital with a severe injury concern.

Today is the day he will feel it. If he has whiplash type muscle spasms it wouldn't have started until a couple hours later.

Hopefully it was just a stinger and he can get rubbed down with some meth and be ready to go to start the season.

I would rather have Champ out there, look at LT, all those years he talked about breaking off 2k in the Chuggers system while refusing to play PS then it always took him 2-3 games to get into the flow and he was always well short of 2k.

You cannot live your life fearing the worst.

RB is a little different position though. If it was up to me he would get one series first game. 2 series next game. Play about a quarter and half 3rd game then no time 4th game. This was well into the 2nd quarter I believe? If he was younger may be different story. But when manning went out that's when champ should

I don't think it's gonna be serious though. Def not linsfrac. I'm sure hell get the rest now for these last 2 games though

I was told Champ Bailey's foot was quite sore when he woke up this morning. X-Rays negative, but awaiting further testing/results.

Give him 3 weeks off so we can see Webster and Bolden play against premier WRs, imo.

Broncos expect Wolfe, Welker for opener

Bailey underwent a MRI exam Sunday to check the soft tissue of the foot after X-rays were negative. The MRI showed no major tears, but Bailey was dealing with plenty of soreness in the arch of his foot and the exact timetable for a return to practice was still uncertain. The Broncos are hopeful they see progress in him over the next three weeks so he will be available for the Sept. 5 regular-season opener against the Ravens.

Wolfe, after tests in a Seattle hospital Saturday night, was allowed to return to Denver on the team’s chartered flight. He is expected, at this point, to be available for the season opener against Baltimore. He had been taken from the field by ambulance after being strapped to a backboard after a collision with Seahawks fullback Michael Robinson.

Wolfe, an active Twitter participant, posted Sunday; “Thanks for the prayers everyone, ill (sic) be okay and will be back on the field soon.’’

Welker was treated for a sprained ankle and is expected to be available for the Ravens game as well if all goes well.
