To add, I heard a lot of brothels/hookers are practicing English. Should help when I'm down there.

I think the US is probably the best it has ever been with Dempsey, Donovan, Bradley, Jozy, Howard....

Still I can't see them making past the sweet 16.... and I would be ecstatic if they made it there.

It depends on seeding and pairings.

They really had a chance against Ghana and should've moved to the quarters in 2010.

WC in 10 months.

I know. I guess she is transitioning in careers or whatever. There are problems everywhere. Shouldn't hold someone back for wanting to go or experience life.

I reviewed my prior statement by going back and looking at the current FIFA rankings...

To be honest, I don't think there are 15 teams in the world that a definitively better than the US. Maybe 11-12....

Spain, Argentina, Brazil, England, Germany, Italy, France, Netherlands, Portugal, Colombia, definitely... but the rest of them I think the US could take on a good day.

We still have qualifiers, etc. Heck, my team the French could get bounced in the runners-up. Lots of time left. Current rankings.

I doubt the US will be so lucky as to be drawn against some woeful outfit like England again and end up going into the knockouts as a group winner. Last 16 at best is where I'd place USA.

Will be quite amusing if England get knocked out in the qualification stage. It's a distinct possibility as Ukraine have a game in hand and two games against UEFA's version of the Raiders, San Marino.

I'd be interested to see Mix get another shot alongside Bradley without Jones (but with Dempsey or Donovan) before ruling him out of future top XI.
Agreed on the Jermaine bit--dude hasn't looked good since the concussion. And, when Jermaine is out Bradley seems to fall into more of a Prilo-esque type central midfielder, which more than often creates scoring chances. If you haven't already read it, I recommend the deadspin article on Bradley--good read: http://deadspin.com/americas-most-im...old-1113369327.

In other news... MLS is going to expand from its current 19 teams to 24 teams in 2020. They've already committed to a new team in New York for 2014.

...and it looks like the successful Florida club team, the Orlando City Pirates, will be promoted to MLS in 2015.
The only one who got humiliated was Corey Ashe.

Orlando City is as good as in...Miami will not be far away either...

I'm not sure on this. Uruguay, Japan, Korea, Belgium, Greece, Croatia, Russia, Nigeria, Cameroon. Hell, any team that qualifies for the Euro Cup is better than the US.

I still question the US back four especially the CB, i think their lack of international experience will hurt them at the end.

However, we never looked better with the front four. Wow, that new kid has a great first touch, very composed and he isn't shy to shoot. The first US striker that can take on a defender 1 on 1 and create for himself. He is our second best striker. Please don't remind me of Eddie Johnson or Herculez (both are poachers and can't create crap for them self). I can still see Eddie doing five or six clumsy step overs yet the defender is still in front of him, he will eventually dribble to the corner and loose the ball. Herculez gets no respect from the refs. the guy gets abused in the box and will never draw a foul or penalty. i rather have Alex Morgan... at least she is good eye candy.

we should play 4-4-2 all the time.

---------Altidore - Aron-------------
Donovan - Jones - Bradley - Dempsey
Zusi - Besler - Gonzales - Cherundolo
-------------Howard----------------

I don't see advantage playing Dempsey as wing/RM. I rather have him playing in CF position and Altidore playing as ST.

Cololrado Rapids look like a possible title contender in MLS this year.

The win over the Whitecaps was a huge one for them. They are having a good run and snuck up on a ton of people in the west.
