When you get that old, isn't it just better if they say "season ended by natural causes"?

Damn! That's tough. He'll have to use his other arm to shoot himself now.

Peyton Hillis was hoping for a fresh start with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It hasn't taken long for a familiar roadblock to return.

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, citing a person informed of Hillis' injury, reported Friday that Hillis suffered a hyperextended left knee during the third quarter of the Bucs' preseason opener against the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday night. Rapoport added the injury is minor. Hillis limped off the field and didn't return in the Ravens' 44-16 win.

Alex Smith orchestrated an 80 yard drive going 7/8 and 68 passing yards leading to a TD.

If this is the Alex Smith I'm getting he's well worth what we gave up.

Without looking I guarantee most of the passes were check downs to RBs then YACs.

A lot of them were, but if he's converting 3rd downs and scoring TD's like tonight than I don't mind one bit.

That's one thing you'll have to look for cause he's been among the worst in the league at 3rd down conversions.

Agreed. That's why I was impressed with him. He converted two 3rd downs, but he also converted three 2nd downs into first downs.

Meanwhile Cassel just threw a horrible INT in Minnesota.

LeGarrett Blount just made the Eagles look bad on a 51 yard highlight reel run, their defense is horrible Patriots have 170 yards rushing in the first half.

I'm just concerned with Tebow in the game who is gonna get Brady his gatorade, he's looking a little thirsty on the sidelines.

Huh? We've won something like 7 preseason games the last 8 years.

McDaniels must of been hitting the crack pipe when he thought it was a good idea to draft Tebow in the first round.

The worst QB in the history of the NFL and it's not even close, even Ryan Leaf had talent he was just crazy where as Tebow literally can't throw the football.

No we hear every year from guys like Bob and KCDud how awesome your team is going to be because of what happened in preseason

Just saying your team looking good in preseason is nothing new...
