It is unusual for teams to come out like this, so I have a tiny bit more hope. But still, its seems like 9/10 times the players have to face the music when confronted with drug offenses.

The fact that he didn't fail a test means nothing in and of itself - it could be for missing a test, in which case your guilt is assumed - no innocent untill proven guilty in this situation.

Not saying I agree with that btw, just saying that's the way it goes with all drug testing in all sports today

However, the fact that the team is publicly backing him to overturn his suspension does indicate that there are extenuating circumstances that might get him off - they generally don't do this if there isn't a valid case.

So I feel more optimistic, but we really don't know anything for sure, and this headline doesn't really advance our understanding in any way......

Because nobody dies of testicular cancer. It sounds scary. You will probably lose a testicle. You might have to do some chemo and radiation. But you'll live. It's like a medical version of being punked.

Hopefully Miller won't get suspended, but he's failed at least one test that is known, so it is a shame to say the least that this is even an issue, where he has to be tested regularly at all. He did that to himself. I'm still ticked at him, especially with his Super Bowl talk, apparently knowing all the while that this might happen.

Love how so many decide about his character before the full story in in. So far we know NOTHING.

Von says he is a different person than that 20 year old rookie that tested + for pot. Why not take him at his word until he proves otherwise.

What I read here:

"Ok, maybe I overreacted on the Von situation as he may not get suspended. But, I'm still going to pretend to be pissed at him, because I'm too far in to turn back now"

(Disclaimer: Until fired for defamation & contempt of court, I used to be a court stenographer. So I know what I'm doing)
