Seriously, this makes no sense.

2011 2nd strike is the reason for this season's 4 game ban? Why so long? It's not like they were awaiting an appeal as they are just NOW going to appeal the suspension.

To wait until he goes a full, All-Pro, Pro-Bowl, (and I'm assuming, clean) calendar year, THEN enforce the suspension and announce it the week training camp starts?

Odd, to say the least.

The fact that he did it a third time makes his first offense irrelevant no matter when he did it. He didn't learn his leasson and looks to be one of the dumbest players in the NFL

Lucky the team plays 3 or 4 at home to start the year

Let's see, 15-20 million per year or get high? Tough question.

It sounds like both of his infractions are from 2011. You would think he would have had something pop more recently if he were an addict.

Yeah, if there isn't a third offense in there somewhere, this ****ing reeks.

A third violation means he would be facing a year's ban.

They are saying it's the 2nd violation (and from 2011).

20? Not if he misses 4 games. Cmon, be real.

Makes me wonder how long Denver has known this suspension was coming down the pipe?

When they signed Shaun Phillips and immediately said he'd be practicing at strongside linebacker (Von's position) to back him up, I thought that was a little odd. I figured they would have been using him more like Elvis Dumervil, as a pass rushing specialist at defensive end.

Or being double teamed and forced into pass coverage.

It's collusion ... didn't you hear Dwight Freeney?

What seems logical is getting a positive recently and the rookie year is the reason it's a 4 game suspension. But info is not coming out like that.

HA!, I highly doubt it. This will not be the last time he gets busted. There I said it.

League should set the right example and follow the law, why are they above it? This is the USA, and we're a democracy, we elect representatives and they make the laws.

Broncos and Seahawks can smoke, but nobody else.

Meant two and they have a specific window from April through August where they will test for weed. Not all year, not random and he can't figure this out

Well the sliver lining in all this is that we don't have to pay Miller to be the highest defensive player anymore if he's one drug test away from being suspended the whole year! Just trying to stay positive!

My work doesn't allow me to drink 6 hours before clocking in. It's called a policy, and whether you like it or not you have to follow it or face the penalty.
