Of those three, only Decker becomes a free agent at the end of this season.

DT signed a 5-year deal in 2010, so he is under contract through the 2014 season.

Similarly, Von signed a 4-year deal in 2011....so he, too, is under contract through 2014.

But, obviously, if they each put up monster years again this year.....they could potentially hold out next offseason, demanding to get new deals before their rookie contracts are up.

I would be surprised if we didn't give an extension to either of them, though, at the end of this season. I fear we may let Decker walk in order to get both Von and DT taken care of in advance of them entering their final years. Otherwise, as you imply.....it's gonna be hard to try to do all 3 of these guys in one offseason.

I hadn't seen this site before........just pick any Broncos player from the dropdown menu.....and his contract info will come up. Not bad.

Well like I said if WW matches his year that he had last year or comes close, he is going to be looking at top WLB money. Considering DJ Williams was worth about 6 million a year to put up the numbers he did, WW is worth at least that. Maybe Denver can get lucky and get him to do a 5 year 27.5 million dollar contract like Curtis Lofton got with the Saints, but if I'm WW I would be looking at the the 5 year 32 million dollar contract DJ Williams got from Denver as my starting point.

I agree that he's my 3rd priority in the bunch, but he's still a priority to be resigned by the Broncos for sure.

I really wish we could get him signed for Brian Hartline got. Truth is Hartline isn't worth what he got and Decker is probably worth more. Miami really screwed teams with that contract.

Haha, so we'd model his deal off the most recently signed young white-guy WR?

I wish Lonelystar was here. He could explain how the cap works and who we will not be able to resign.

Most recent number 2 WR contract. You have to think Thomas will get the 5 year contract pushing 60 million that Wallace and Bowe got. That is number one money. Maybe you can put on another year for Decker like Cruz got. 6 years 45 million plus.

No question he'd be a priority. I'm just not sure how the numbers work out. I think everyone saying he's a $6-7 million guy are cutting him short.

Pierre Garcon got 5 years and 42 (22g) after just one decent year with Manning. Decker is an $8 mill/year player minimum, probably higher. When you consider you may be forced to give DT something close to the Mike Wallace deal, that just sounds like too much money to wrap up in just WR for the long term.

I have WW, Beadles, and Decker penciled in for $4M each next year, to be able to fit under the cap. That's with cutting both Kuper and Mays this offseason.

Interesting how Clady's cap number is LESS next year by about $4m. That is great.

It's all how they structured it between signing bonus vs. roster bonus. Both get paid out immediately.....but as we know, signing bonuses are prorated over the life of the contract, roster bonuses hit your cap in the year paid.

Clady only received a $3M "signing" bonus.....so that's $600k per year.....but a 2013 roster bonus of $10.5M that all hits this year.

Interesting, that if you CAN afford a bigger cap hit now....then take it.

Again, great site.....perhaps I should post a separate link?

http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/denver-broncos/ryan-clady/

If you look at it......it appears that the $33m of guarantees is simply:

$3m signing bonus
$12m of roster bonuses (not always guaranteed, unless written into contract)
$18m which is his first 3 years' salaries (also, not usually guaranteed)

Wesley Woodyard - LB - Broncos

Broncos WLB Wesley Woodyard hopes to receive a contract extension before Week 1.
Woodyard, 27 on Sunday, is entering the final year of his contract, and he's scheduled to earn a base salary of $3 million. He just signed a new two-year deal last spring, but he answered the bell by posting his best season yet. Woodyard recorded 117 tackles, 5.5 sacks, and three interceptions, while grading out as Pro Football Focus' top coverage 4-3 outside 'backer. He's likely seeking roughly $6 million annually on a new contract.

It would be nice to have just Decker and Beadles to worry about next off-season.
