Nah dude, Russell is the one who puts in all the grunt work. He puts it all together. Without him I doubt we get guys like Trevathan and Quanterus Smith. They've had some pretty solid FA periods and late round draft picks under Russell. He's screwing us bigtime now.

1.0 is only one percent. Though anyone who actually reaches that point is just asking to die.

That is "overseeing" how exactly? I'm sure the guy confers with the scouts and then gives Elway and Fox reports on players, but to say he has "overseen" anything is silly. Honestly, I don't buy for one second the guy does anything most of the scouts under him couldn't do more or less just as well.

And really, our drafts since the guy took over that position have been merely okay, nothing more.

The 1.0 signifies 1% not the entire statistical scope that I think you're looking at it as.

I did it this weekend and then slammed my face into the side of a pool. It was tough at first but once I got past like 75% it was so easy, I barely even remember it.

The question I have...is whether he could be looking at jail time. Hit and run...rear ending a cop...injuring a cop....DUI..etc.

If he gets sentence to serve time....then, you dump him. If he pleads down to probation...you fine him and put him on a last chance agreement...and move forward.

The guy turned 40...partied hard and F'd up. Does he have a history of such behavior? If not, then you don't just dump him....unless he goes to jail!

He would be the biggest hypocrite if he has a major say in who we bring to the Broncos. How would he respond to a player that has a DUI in the past?

There's no excuse for this sort of thing in this day and age. Especially a guy with money. Plan ahead, and secure transportation back to your destination of choice. It's really that simple.

The leaders in any organization need to set the example and be held accountable.

How is the team suppossed to counsel a young kid coming in from college about this kind of stuff, when senior management gets a pass? It just sends the wrong message.

Agreed and it really is a shame. He would hold no credibility in the future. Wouldn't have any respect.

they better fine the **** out of him or suspend him if they're going to keep him around.
drunk driving is bad enough but you're a team exec and you crash into two cars and a cop car for the last one.

Seriously though .......hate this kind of ****. Seems like this kind of crap has been following the Broncos for some time. But Russell seems to me thats hes a young, talented mind, and if theres no previous criminal history with him, Id like to see him stay.

Over a .20 in Colorado is mandatory jail time. There are ways to get around it (stipping to a .199), but if he were to plead straight to the DUI, he'd have to go to jail if that PBT is anywhere close to accurate to his chemical test results.

Maybe we should bring that brave cop that killed the Rottweiler and have him put a cap or two in Matt's ass.

Hopefully the Broncos will look at the overall behavior and quality of Matt Russel and make their decision based on that assessment.

I went to Pete's Piano Bar in Austin last night and got totally blasted. I however had a designated driver. Something Russell should learn to do.

That's ignorant . After the 4 first round pick and 5 seconds mcd ****ed up in back to back years this guys has done great, imagine if elwayand russell had those picks... this team would be loaded our drafts have been excellent . If I were to look at them objectively the von miller draft has been an a and the wolfe draft a solid b
