That's gotta be a bit historical* of not getting just a DUI, but going full out. It's like a scene from Super Troopers.

*historical in a Hitler/Lenin/Mao way...

If his weight is right on Wiki, it's only 19 beers over a 3 hour span. .4 or higher is death.

Or one beer every 10 minutes for 3 hours straight. Idiot. Right after Elway basically gave him the keys to the franchise.

Regular DUI: "It's cool, just had a couple red cups of beer and went down to the cornerstore." - Todd Helton

Goodbye DUI: Do what Russell did, then pull off your best wife-beating criminal impersonation in the mugshot. Kudos Russell, and adios.

Where's Keith Kidd when you need him?

Summit county and Breck in particular is the worst place in the state to try to drink and drive and get away with it.

If a ordinary guy did this and he couldn't afford to hire some guy like Harvey Steinberg he would probably get charged with DUI, leaving the scene of an accident, Attempted Vehicular Manslaugter, ect.. and probably get 3-5. It will be interesting to see if he can keep his job or his freedom.

I've been .24 and was able to order food at Denny's, then watch the big lebowski and woke up with no hangover.

.4 is when you start to die. I've blacked out one night woke up in some strange house on a tarp covered in my own blood. Some 8 hours after I blacked out I had to go to the doctor and get staples in my head. My blood was still in the high two's. The lesson I learned from that night is, Asian guys garages do look like a fast and the furious movie and that absinthe is a hell of a drink.

Maybe it's a reach when the fans still don't know the name of the team's 3rd round pick.

Russell hasn't overseen ****. Dude is being groomed to one day oversee things, and that day hasn't and may never come.

Well given the Dukes historic penchance for the sauce, Russel is grooming nicely. All kidding aside he has to be way smarter than this. Especially given the fact he hit 2 cars, one being a cop.

Generally, as was said, you don't get into the serious problems until you hit the .4 and up, but it all really depends on your size, health and tolerance for alcohol. I've been above .5 twice, sadly, and there are all kinds of stories about people who have been near or over 1.0 without dying.
