Default All AFC West Team

Something interesting on NFL.com

Which divisions would be the best if they had an all-star team put together?

In AFC West Denver had 6 players along with S.D. KC has 10 players that are the best in the division.

http://davedameshek.nfl.com/2013/07/...all-pro-teams/

No surprise NFC West is the #1 division.

Wow, what a joke of an article. The Broncos are going to steam roll the division but apparently the Broncos have less talent and a worse HC than the team that went 2-14 and has a walking hippo for a HC. Pass the french fries and milk shake!

Lets see Schwartz may not even start for the Chiefs and Tyson Jackson actually sucks

In fact he probably is one of the worst "DEs", not one of the best

I would swap out Schwartz for Beadles or Asamough(?), swap out Tyson Jackson for Derek Wolfe, and swap out Berry for Moore

If Berry can return to his rookie year form and improve upon his average coverage skills then he would be the easy pick

But as it stands right now I think Moore is the better player

Jackson and Berry don't belong on the list. Have a hard time buying Flowers as the top CB in the division when he gets taken advantage of buy big, physical WR's. Sounds like the author just took some of the more well known players and put them on the list, regardless of their age or recent numbers.

Ummmm berry is a freaking stud! No one would take Moore over berry at any time for any reason. Eric berry is one hell of a safety and ways better than anything the rest of our division possesses.

Berry was a stud his rookie year
He was decent last year but struggled in coverage

As I said if Berry can return to form he could be the best safety in the league

But if you are going after last year Moore was better

How is Fox a better HC than Reid?

The fact that you even ask this shows your IQ. KC supposedly has a collection of some of the best talent in the West. Just Like Philly had last 2 seasons right? And what did Reid do with those teams? If Reid is going to be the best HC in the division, he's going to have to prove it.

Past success means nothing in true rankings. Shanahan used to be the best QB in the league. Now he is still a good coach but he isn't the best in the game anymore. More recently Fox is by a large margin the better coach.

I wouldn't swap out Berry for Moore. It's not a knock on Moore, but Berry is a stud at safety when healthy. Tyson Jackson for Wolfe I can see.

Decker out played Bowe last yr from the number 2 spot. Manning absolutely loves throwing to his right, to the back of the endzone and Decker is going to be the biggest winner from that. Decker a better football player then Bowe just how it is. Bowe will be over drafted in fantasy this yr I am avoiding him.

Fox's last 2 seasons in Carolina were very similar to Reid's last two years in Philly as far as their decline goes. They coasted in the 2nd to last year and then just fell apart their last year.
Last year Philly had injuries everywhere. Vick, Jackson, their LT. All hurt. Also consider that his son died literally right before the season started. Pretty obvious that affected him emotionally and he wasn't all there.

Reid has only had 2 losing seasons this century. That's pretty impressive. Also 11th in playoffs wins while doing excellent work with a handful of QB's.

Of course Fox looks good now, and he's done a great job with your defense, but we all know he has nothing to do with the offense. Manning is playing the biggest role and Fox is in a great situation.

Fox plays not to lose, just like Marty. I'd rather have Reid's aggressive mentality.

Apparently, this guy thinks that Vasquez is still with the Chargers. I count only 5, that are currently on the Chargers roster...

He, also, misspelled Branden Albert's name. He spelled it BrandOn. Clearly, this writer didn't do his homework...

Fox's last two seasons in Caroline were not good, but the fact is those teams were polar opposites of Reid's teams the last two seasons Reid was in Philly. Fox's teams were gutted with very little to no talent while Reid's teams were loaded.

We shall see what Reid is capable of doing soon enough but the fact is this article is claiming Reid is the better coach in the AFCW than Fox but with absolutely no proof. Reid has yet to coach a single game in the AFCW.

wtf?

Fox's last two seasons were not good because the owner wanted him to fail. He refused to fire Fox and he refused to extend him. Meaning Fox's last season everyone knew would be his last since his contract was up. Coaches start looking for other jobs, players stop listening. No coach succeeds under these circumstances.

What do you mean WTF? You have the ball with over 2 minutes left in the game and all you need is a 1st down to run out the clock and you run it 3x in a row and then punt.

Why the **** would you run it all 3 times when you're top 5 in passing?

Fox went full-on Marty in that game and you know it.

LMAO - Shanny the best QB in the league. We know what you meant but it was still funny as hell to read that.
