How would the patriots stats in this area change if the NFL would have actually punished them for spygate?

Oh I know, but doesn't change the fact that Elway's gonna need to clean it up. So far in his two seasons we're on the same pace. Needs to get a lot better.

I think these should be weighted for degree of crime. Murder should be worth like 10 points. Assault varying by degree and so on.

It's interesting that league-wide arrests have been dropping since Roger Goodell took over.

We would probably be #1 for player deaths.

Elway can only be held accountable for who he drafts or signs as a FA. Cox & Wiliams have been cut, and I could be wrong, but I can't think of anyone on the the current team that have been arrested while a Bronco.

We are behind only 2 teams but the Viks seem to have a whole bunch of arrest just because of one boat ride.

.

For all of you that give a **** about arrests in pro sports. **** you. Stop watching the broncos because clearly they are thug central.

This is absolutely NOT the team to watch. Probably due to the fact that we keep drafting douchebag Miami and SEC players. But, like college, to be the best you have to get the worst sort of douchebags.

Gotta separate traffic and bar scuffles from Perrish Coxes.

And don't forget this guy ... you don't know what his arrest was capable of.

The eye popping stat here...to me is, the total number of arrests since 2011...League-wide!

I'm 44yrs old and have never been arrested. Is it really that tough? That's over 600 arrests since 2000.

Here are a couple ideas to change that:

1. All incentive monies void if charge is upheld
2. Require 25% of all contract monies to go to a retirement account
3. Hire team counselors, who coach employees on urban life issues and how to transition

I'm no expert.....but, this makes the NFL look pathetic. Limbaugh and Rivera are onto something. No symposium is going to fix this....they need to do more...a lot more!

I had to Google Reddit. I do not see its purpose but I did find an interesting story of Texas troopers acting like ***** to a 74 year-old lady and then arresting her.

ahhhh maybe that is the purpose of Reddit.

It's a customizable news aggregator. Depending on which "Sub-Reddits" you join, of which there are many thousands, you can decide what shows up on your front page.

According to this, NFL players get arrested less than the average male. Just goes to show how publicity can skew perception.

Something is wrong with how they're displaying the numbers.

It would be incidents/(active players per year x years) or 666/22100=.03 (proportion) or 30 in 1000 to use the terms the article uses.

Just a quick glance, the categories don't sum to 30 in 1000, so either there's an "Other" category that they're not showing for whatever reason or they're citing inconsistent information.
