That's not bad. Who do you suggest we trade for mallet?

Basically why I mentioned the locks at WR. It would be likely somebody who we would cut from the team. Kind of like our trade with Seattle and Colbert.

Again, I bet if either one gets cut, then New England is all for claiming whichever it is.

I heard a talking head on ESPiN saying that Dallas Clark is going to be an option for them.

I don't either. And I don't want to do anything to help them.

But if it were to happen I'd hope Denver would screw them like they've screwed others in deals. The Maroney deal still pisses me off.

Couple thoughts here. 1. If we are trading a TE because OJ has turned the page it wouldn't be Dreesen it would be Tamme. Dreesen is the complete TE that blocks in run game. 2. Why would Denver trade with New England to help their weakness when they are Denvers main competition. 3. New England has Tebow to play TE.

Virgil Green is the best blocker of all the TE and he has good ball skills too. He isn't a proven commodity, but he has the ability to be the best all around TE on the roster.

Now I know why we hyped him up. We had in inkling something will happen to one or both of the Pats TEs. Brilliant move Elway and Company.

I think Tamme would make more sense. He is the slot reciever who will lose out to Welker while Dressen the better blocker.

I already said weeks ago to offer them Tamme for a pick next yr.

Why in the world would you help your main competition in a year when you hope and have planed to win it all for a mid round pick next year?

Well Baja you would only do it if they would give you a pick way higher then the player worth. 3rd rounder, something like that. If you can't fleece them then you don't do it. I doubt they are desperate though. NE will stick in Ballard and wait for Gronk to get healthy. They won't panic.

It's not about the pick it's about making our strongest AFC foe better. Actually we should trade the TE or receiver to another team for whatever and keep them away from Brady

Would only deal with them peckers if they came begging and ready to really overpay. Otherwise screw em.

Not sure Tamme scares me that much but whatever in John I trust. I just don't see Tamme catching more then 20 balls for us this yr. Unless Welker got injured.

You can't fleece the Bill Belly and a 3rd for Tamme? I get your point but it isn't realistic nor would it be smart.

The insufferably arrogant Patriots can get bent... why should any AFC team want to help them? I can't think of a single solitary reason why they would.

I think you have missed the point, the OP is talking about raping them in the time of desperate need for a receiver for Brady.

Short of trading them our entire receiving core I don't think trading them our #3 or #4 TE is going to drastically alter their offensive performance this year. Might as well get something for a player we are going to end up having to cut.

the Broncos already traded Tebow for Welker. I don't see why elway can't stiff them again

I don't think NE will trade for a TE. I think they will wait it out and see who gets released. The Broncos can't keep all the talent and when one of the TEs are cut, the Pats will out bid every other team and get that TE.

Yep. I look forward to seeing Miami kick their asses this year. BTW, Hernandez is going away for a long, long time. JMHO.
