Local charities are an investment in your community and I find they are easier vet than national groups. I prefer to give anonymously back to the community that helped support my business.

It does suck when you find out some charity you liked and gave to uses most of its money just to pay all the staff and advertise.

My band plays a meals for wheels benny this weekend with an old dude Freddie Davis JR who sang with the drifters lol. I haven't really researched Meals of Wheels Long Beach hopefully we are volunteering for a great charity. Honestly though i do so much charity that peolple ask me and the band I don't have the time or energy to check them all.
