Yup, we're discussing it in the Walton thread now.

Saw that one coming. Now we can see how he does from the beginning of the season. I know some here thought he did well based on the schedule getting easier. I call it BS and now we shall see.

Walton was too busy getting rag-dolled when healthy

right on. this is huge. I love the combination of young talent and battle tested veteran on this offense. Should be fun to watch.

Walton played the first part of the season when the whole team was just getting used to each other. Plus Ramirez was playing the whole time Walton was in there I believe. After Koppen was signed Denver's schedule got a whole lot easier as well, and finally Walton is still a young player.

All that being said Koppen is a great sign and march on Denver will. Hopefully, Blake will seize the moment in camp and Koppen will be back up but I do not hold out hope for this.

What is the mystery. We lost a center so we signed a Manning endorsed center. It remains to be seen who the starter will be. Could be Blake, could be Kuper, could be Koppen. Not a bad line up really.

What are Koppen's run-block skills looking like at this point in his career? And why wasn't he picked up by anybody else in the offseason?

The guy has only played 10 seasons.....so, he has some tire tread left. I don't think he was picked up...because nobody needed a starting center....and he's not a guy to play guard. Teams only keep backup's who can play center and/or guard!

Really glad no one made a play on him. He's a perfect fit mentally. Hopefully he can do it physically still.

Hopefully Montee Ball, and Alex Gibbs can do something special. I wasn't impressed with the running game last year at all.

I agree wholeheartedly. I never felt confident when we were running the ball last year. Our numbers were reasonable but that was often because opposing teams were worried about us passing. My heart was always on my mouth on important running downs. It's the tough yards when the opponents know that you're going to run that really matter!

I'm really hoping that between ball, Gibbs and our o-line we can improve that this year
