We all enjoyed that one and NE was in the SB, losing, only because we allowed them to play Jacksonville in the AFCC.

while I agree the Broncos might have overlooked the 2nd year Jags in '96, they also had a defense that benefited from good offense.

Tom Coughlin noticed that while the Broncos ranked high in run defense they ranked low in average yards per att, and figured that where other teams would abandon the run early he would remain patient and keep running the ball....and his theory as Natrone Means ran all over us in that game.
