Exactly. I remember with OJ, initially they just want to talk to him, he wasn't a suspect.

As far as Ray, wasn't it a knife? Isn't that his specialty? Well his and OJ's

Wasn't it just the opening series though. Suspending is a bit different then benching.

Wes Welker was temporarily prevented from being in force or effect, was he not?

You can be suspended for a series... even a play.

That was awesome. I watched the entire thing. At first thought it was kinda boring and then when they got near the end and all those people raised their hands for answer #3 (and that was my answer also) and learned that even such an innocent answer could convict you, wow, opened my eyes. I'll never talk to police ever without a good attorney at my side.

On Welker ... Didn't Belichick say the suspension (or whatever) was just a message not to take personal shots at other coaches? He did.

For Hernandez, if true, these three points are almost all a good prosecutor needs: 1) witnesses saw Hernandez drive his rental car away from a bar with three passengers including the victim, an hour later witnesses saw Hernandez arrive home without the victim, 2) same rental car was placed at the scene of the crime (I'm guessing by satellite records, it's a rental), 3) Hernandez' girlfriend's sister used to date the victim ...

Patriots are gonna need them some tight ends ... looks like the Lord just opened a door for Tim.

This is a crazy story. 4 men go to a bar, only 3 come home and Hernandez was reportedly driving. I don't see how he isn't guilty of something. I bet he gets arrested soon.

Guys on local sports radio have been talking about this a lot, obviously. The only way they could deduce that Hernandez could possibly be innocent of being directly involved in the murder would be if......

all 4 came back to Hernandez's house together, then the victim asks Hernandez if he can use the vehicle to go, say, pick up some drugs at that industrial park, and he got shot by someone else. The reason this is a possibility is....wouldn't even the dumbest criminal(s) NOT leave the vehicle at the scene of the crime?? Yet, the car was very close to the body.

A law enforcement official tells FOX 25 Hernandez appears to be directly tied to the homicide which is why authorities executed a search warrant at his home Tuesday night. According to the same source, Hernandez, Lloyd, and two other men were at a bar in Boston the night of the homicide, and at some point, the four men left together in a car driven by Hernandez which was confirmed by a text Lloyd sent another friend, the source says.

It is unclear where the car went or what happened during the ride, but according to the source only three men returned to Hernandez's home at the end of the night and Lloyd was not one of them.

The source also says forensic evidence places a vehicle driven by Hernandez at one of the crime scenes in this case.

Troopers returned to Hernandez's $1.3 million home Wednesday morning, but no one answered. Hernandez returned home during the early afternoon Wednesday, wearing a Patriots sweatshirt and a red hat and carrying what looked like a sports drink. He did not speak to a crowd of reporters staked out about 100 feet away.

Later Wednesday, at least seven state troopers searched both sides of a road just off the street where Hernandez lives. The troopers also searched the industrial park where the body was found and within the Westwood Estates development. The officers used thin poles to pull back plants and search through undergrowth along the road.

Among other items, police said they are searching for a silver mirror cover which is believed to have been broken off a vehicle and may be visible along a route of travel between Dorchester and North Attleboro.

Police have also issued a "BOLO" or "be on the lookout" for a silver Chrysler 300 rental car with Rhode Island registration which may have a connection to the homicide.

They just had a lawyer lady on NFL network saying that 'suspects' can't plead the fifth until they're actually dubbed as suspects. So the cops keep them 'persons of interest' so the cops can ask them questions. Something about your silence CAN be used against you sometimes until you actually plead the fifth (not sure if true).

She said "Aaron Hernandez, you're not deemed a suspect, but you're DEFINITELY a suspect."
