No. I'm here now, I'll be somewhere else later. There is no redundancy.

Huh?

redundant

1.No longer needed or useful; superfluous.
2.Able to be omitted without loss of meaning or function.

superfluous - unnecessary - needless - excessive

You better hope eternity IS actually redundant, otherwise you could be in big, big trouble sinner.

I thought one meaning of redundant was repetitive. IE over and over. Like Ground Hog Day. I could be wrong.

Speaking of which, this recent comment at IAOFM should bring joy to many Broncos fans:

Quote:
The move to using the inside zone run less (which former OC Mike McCoy called repeatedly later in games) and adding more of the outside zone and stretch zone plays should also make the offense more difficult to predict and add a scheme where Hillman (and Ball) can excel.

Interesting...

Quote:
Why was McGahee cut loose?

Foremost, he's not healthy. I have it on good authority that's what the Broncos believe. It's why McGahee was afforded only limited carries in the mandatory minicamp. It's the No. 1 reason he's on the job market for a new gig.

Also this comment:

Quote:
One observer's too-early prediction: Hillman is the starter for the season opener. Ball assumes the position by the end of September. We see plenty of Moreno, in part because he's their most reliable pass-blocker and protecting Manning is priority No. 1.

I completely agree and I won't put that as gospel until preseason games.

No, it means extra, but in an unnecessary way.

So a guy that looks like he is 150 lbs is gonna start a rookie late 2nd will back him him and the Ballerina 3rd?

The Ballerina is the greatest 12th overall pick ever.

He calls Hillman a "scatterback" and is worried over "the lack of a powerful ball carrier" (has he actually watched Ball play or is he just looking at his weight on a piece of paper?). I seriously have to wonder if this guy has ever watched football reading that article.

I think that is an honest assessment. McGahee is 232 lbs M. Ball is 215. Ball runs hard and breaks tackles but he is not a power back.

There's a difference between not having a back with power and not having a power back. Assuming Ball is half the short yardage/goalline back he was in college we have nothing to worry about on the power front.

I can agree with that Ball has been money near the goal line in college. Of course we don't know what kind of Pro he is going to be.

Pretty good article on how the Broncos cut the wrong RB.

The salary cap and turnover differential say otherwise.

They dismissed the turnover problem just a little bit too easily.

I agree with this article except for one thing, McGahee's health. The Broncos said flat out that his knee was still an issue (although he passed the physical) and this is the primary reason for his release. Combine this with his age and salary and they did the right thing by releasing McGahee so he had plenty of time to sign with another organization. Classy move by a classy organization IMHO.

I agree. Marcus Allen wasn't a power back, but it seemed like the guy couldn't be stopped in goal situations. At least against us.

That is hard for me to believe. Last year they were talking about im playing in the AFC Championship game and McGahee was begging coaches to let him play against Baltimore.
