Turner is slow but still good at getting short yardage IMO. And I don't think he fumbles very much but honestly i don't know about that.

Most likely this tells us Ball is a lot further along then Hillman was last yr. We still have Moreno and IMO if we are getting Gibbs system going again even Lance Ball can read a dend and then make a cut. Its an easy system to run in. We will be fine because we probably only run the ball what 350-400 times. We just need about 200 carries from the rookie.

Would rather have McGahee then either Hester or L Ball. Oh well, played hard while he was here.

here's the way I see it as far as rotation of the RBs: Montee Ball starts day 1 with Hillman being the day 1 change of pace RB. Moreno is the back up RB. The Broncos will utilize Ball/Hillman to score points so as to build up a lead in the first half. By the 4th quarter I see Moreno getting most of the carries as he's now the de facto power back and he will be getting the carries to help wear down the opposing defense. This also allows Ball/Hillman to rest. I can also see Hester getting some carries in this capacity too, especially (or should I say inevitably) when Moreno gets dinged up.

On the other hand, sometimes RB get stronger as the game goes on and maybe this is the case with Montee Ball. That is, the longer he plays, the better he gets. So maybe the Broncos just keep him in the game and use Moreno strickly as a reserve backup RB.

Reason 1 - What a silly reason to decide to hate on a player. I am guessing that Wolfe was a pick very few wanted but don't hear a lot of hate for him.

Reason 2 - What a silly reason to decide to hate on a player. It wasn't his fault he was drafted there. And just because he doesn't meet our expectations based on where he was drafted, it really only matters as to whether or not he makes the team better or not once he is drafted.

Reason 3 - What a silly reason to decide to hate on a player. I suppose we hate DT and Decker as well?

Reason 4 - Finally! A valid reason for concern (but not hate imho). As I have said in every post I have ever made about KM, this is the big question. I think we find out this year whether he has been unlucky or just injury prone...

BTW - the reason I expect KM to start day one (and not be starting by mid-season) is pass protection. All indications are the Monte has the skills, dedication and willingness to become an excellent pass blocker, and I think it will take a little time for him to get there. Not that he was bad in college, but this is the pros.

If he improves enough to give PFM comfort by day one then great! The future will be a bit sooner than I expected.

Well I would hope so. Hillman wasn't very far along at the end of last year.

I think almost everyone would. But he costs more and doesn't play ST's.

He's actually not. Have you watched him the last couple years? You'd think he could be good short yardage guy but he just hasn't been.

Yeah, Montee will have to prove himself in live action, when D's in preseason games are throwing blitzes at him. He's the back I wanted them to draft, but nevertheless he has to prove himself. If Ball lets a blitzer through one single time and Peyton gets hit, I bet he's on the bench behind Moreno. I think the staff has zero-tolerance for that. Same goes for Hillman.

Heck, nobody even knows right now whether or not Montee is a better Pro at any phase of the game than either Moreno OR Hillman.

I'd bet money on it if I had any money to bet.

By the way, Willis McGahee's release is still better then that of Tebow's release. Willis isn't a QB but I have seen him do a RB option and his spiral was pretty spot on. Tebow' release? Not so much and it affected his accuracy.

Actually I do think that Morano will start. Those last six games proved a lot to me.
