Yeah, he was a good signing. I wonder if SD is his next stop. He still has something in the tank I believe. Denver probably will pick up another RB or two somewhere for camp. Only six RB's heading into camp doesn't sound like enough.

It's possible, but they said earlier the plan was 40/40/20.

I've been told that, but of course we also need a running threat of some sort. I fear the problems inherent in an imbalanced offense... Such as Super Bowl losses.

Nah, Hester will be the inactive RB. With M. Ball being a rookie, they will still need KM to shoulder some carries. Your mistaken if you think it's going to be just Hillman and M. Ball getting carries.

Might happen in week 1 or week 10 we don't know at this point and it is Moreno not Willis that has been chosen to the the transition player for Ball.
well considering Moreno oddly enough showed more than Willis last season and his cap hit is bigger if released it isn't a surprise that Willis was released. I agree that Moreno is being seen right now as the transition guy, especially because of pass blocking. however, if Ball shows he is strong at pass blocking, Moreno returns to his role of last year of being inactive unless injury occurs.

Not gonna be a problem when you're running against 7 man fronts. Montee Ball is gonna be a good one, i expect bigger things from Hillman, and Knowshon already proved he can be successful. We're gonna be fine.

ST's man. Denver's had some real good ST's and Lance is a major guy for them. I could see keeping McG over Jeremiah J., but $$$$$ had to be a consideration also.

Let's say they use the extra money to get Clady signed this year. Then they have that out of the way to sign all these other young guys that are coming up for contracts - Thomas, Decker, Von, Beadles, Walton, Woodyard, Ayers.

Thomas isn't due for a new deal until after next season, same with Woodyard
Walton isn't a stud that will command major money.
Will we want Ayers back?
Beadles will be in line for a decent contract
Decker should probably get a deal in the 6million range.

add in the contracts that are expriring when Von, Thomas and Woodyard are coming due for new deal. Champ's contract is over and if he is still here it will be for a lot less than he gets now. Peyton's deal can be opted out of, Welker's deal is over.

2.5 million reasons why this was inevitable, as I've been saying for several weeks.

McGahee said he has a list of teams that he wouldn't mind signing with.

"There are a lot of places I wouldn't mind playing. You got Miami, Dallas, Green Bay, San Diego, Oakland. That's not necessarily my order of preference, though. All of those teams I mentioned I would go to with no problems," he said.

One team he seemed to leave out, lol.

Have you been saying that or reading it on IAOFM then relaying that message here?

I think they are liking what they see from ball and reckon for him to be the starter. Hillman and Moreno sharing most of the rest of the carries. Still not sure we'll see a 1,000 yard rusher here again for a while, however good Ball may or may not be, I think we're going to spread it around a bit. Moreno's versatility seems to be keeping him in the frame (for now at least)

After drafting Montee wasn't this pretty much a foregone conclusion?

Really hope we're able to get those tough yards in big games.

I'm a bit surprised they cut him this early. Part of it must have been veteran courtesy to see if he can sign with another team early. Pretty hard to make a team as a 30 + year-old third string RB, who doesn't play special teams. I wonder if KM makes the roster, or if they're going to cut bait with him too.

We don't save much by cutting him and honestly, who is better than him outside of Montee and Hillman?
