Moreno will start and they will ease in Ball over the first half of the season. They are not keeping a guy that doesn't play special teams (Moreno) to be a backup

Ugh. Not sure this was smart.
McGahee would never play ST's. Not an option

Willis would be here if he wasn't a fumbling machine. His tread is getting down to the cord and he surpassed my expectations 10 fold in his time here.

He thanks you for the big contribution to his 1300+ yard season.

I'm going to take this as a good sign for what the coaches think about Monte Ball...

I'm laughing at Kizla's article a few days ago stating that he still has a spot on the team. What a worthless hack.

Yes, they are. They have already said they view knowshon as a backup. I do not know why people keep down playing montee.

If we took lacy instead, would you expect him to start?
If we took doug martin (just say he was in this years class- as we liked him last year) would you expect him to start?

Ball was the starter the very second we used our second round pick on him.

The problem I see is if Knoshow gets hurt..likely scenario, we do not have a good back for pass protection

This was expected. Not sure why so many people thought he'd be an important part of this season. That injury combined with his age is a no brainer.

I guess he should have probably tried to be at the 'voluntary workouts'.

Teams really expect you to be there for the OTAs....when you're younger and more valuable to the team, you can get away with it.

When you get older and become more expendable a team is more liable to make an example out of you.

Probably didn't matter, as he was probably not going to be on the team, but not being at OTAs certainly didn't help his cause.
