I would definitely lie to get tips.

You were wrong on where I went to school and the nature of my work.

Why would I feel bad about having a degree in liberal arts disciplines?

The unvarnished truth is that our overpriced elite secondary colleges and universities are graduating more and more students with worthless sheepskins. Far too many students choose careers in liberal arts programs, selecting majors for which there are few job opportunities following graduation. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), more than 317,000 waiters and waitresses are college graduates. And it doesnít stop there. More than 1 out of every 6 bartenders (more than 80,000) has a college degree, as do 118,000 janitors. You donít think your child will suffer that fate? Think again. More than 53 percent of college graduates age 25 or younger are unemployed or underemployed working in low-paying positions nationwide.

This doesn't answer his question of why he should feel bad about a liberal arts degree in the least. What's your degree in, btw?

It's not totally worthless. The competition in the food and beverage service industry is heating up, and a liberal arts degree could be that competitive edge needed to get a foot in the door. That, and my steak just seems to taste better when delivered by a guy with a degree in philosophy.

I have a degree in Advanced Classical Latin Language and a minor in Literature. I think that answers both of your questions.

Cool, so I'm a success too. I haven't had to work for going on two years now.

Success is being a 36 year old surgeon who constantly makes fun of another poster for taking after his (now dead) grandmother after being diagnosed with terminal brain cancer.

I was truly curious. I'm sure you declared that massive windfall on your taxes. So after the government got it's fair share, how much were you left over after taking care of the rent?

No, you are just an egotistical prick. You have been dropping the granny jokes knowing full-well that she was dead. Really is getting old. So stop.
