That's not true at all. Reid utilized the screen game a lot. Just look at Brian Westbrook's entire career, or what he did with LeSean McCoy when he scored 17 TD's a couple years ago.

It also appears like he's changing up his offense this year. I see a lot of Charles screens/intermediate TE's passes in this offense.

You might be right, but I think that is probably their ceiling. They should be improved, imo, but I think if they get to 7 wins this year, they should be very happy.

The queefs weren't even ahead in a game till week 10 last year, they don't have .500 talent.

I think the Chiefs are a 4-12 to 6-10 team. I really don't get why so many people think Andy Reid and Alex Smith somehow equate to a massively improved Chiefs. Last year's Eagles are way more talented than this year's Chiefs. Just think about that for a second...

How is this a fair bet? You lose so you get to take off and hide? Or make another account?

Offense, definitely yes. Defense, probably no.

Again, not a world beater, but definitely not Oakland.
I agree they have some very good talent on offense, but the QB situation is more than a little cloudy. I'm not even sure who will start between Vick, Foles and Barkley but I assume Vick (until he's inevitably injured).

Bryce Brown is probably the primary backup RB, not Polk.

DeMeco Ryans belongs in a 4-3, and that's one of the reasons Houston let him go (they switched to a 3-4). The Eagles ran a 4-3 last year but are switching to a 3-4. Which is among the many reasons I question their defense. How will players like Ryans, Trent Cole, Fletcher Cox, etc. make the transition? And their DB group is very questionable.

Intersting team, no doubt.

Overall they are way more talented. The Chiefs defense is nothing to write home about.

Come up with something better than that. I'm not leaving the board of my team simply because I lost a bet with a fan of a rival team, and I don't really care whether you leave or not.

I have a backpacking trip the first week of camp. Then I may do one or two practices. I don't think it will ever be like it was. When I started I was 24 and had a job that let me take a couple of weeks off whenever. I shared rent with my brother. Now I'm married with a kid and in my 30's. I just don't have the stones to go sit in the sun for several hours and hack out 500 word reports anymore. Especially when there are so many people doing it and live video, press conferences - all that stuff. I think it filled a need at the time and helped grow the Mane but I think the way this stuff has grown and it's not needed anymore.

I'll still go and will love seeing my friends from the Mane and other venues, but I go to camp for me now.

Well you must have like a billion rep points .

Maybe there is more coverage now but your reports were so well written and full of insight they will be very hard to replace.

I think Washington is going to have a bad year. They will probably be forced to change the team name to something like fluffy bunnies.

Raiders - hoping a backup or Pryor will lead them, no threats really on offense and horrid defense
Jaguars - Gabbert blows, but MJD is great
Jets - I can really see them just imploding big time with big time struggles on offense
Bills - I think EJ Manuel is going to bust big time, and he will bring the record down
Cardinals - Palmer is average at best, and no OL, this will be disaster

I find it interesting the AFC has such crappy teams. Hopefully that changes.

I would say we have some good players on our defense.

Eric Berry, Brandon Flowers, DJ, Houston and Tamba are all very talented players.

Our DL is a weakness though.

I agree. There are some real good ones still, but hard to replace the Kahn.
