The Smithereens....

And one of their better sad songs....FYI, the red head is Belinda Carlisle (GoGo's) -

Veruca Salt got their name from "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" character of the same name.......and contrary to popular belief, they're not Lesbians in Boots

This duet was known as "Mouth and McNeal"...and this is the kind of song that can get stuck in your head.

The lead singer of these two hits with different bands has the distinction of being the only two time one hit wonder - first when he sang for The Outsiders, and then when he sang for Climax

Most of you beer drinkers will recognize this song as the Samuel Adams beer commercial song...but dedicate it to your wife and she'll be so happy.

The Knack...I remember when someone proclaimed they'd become the next Beatles, then after their 2nd album changed it to, well, maybe they'll be the next Monkees...but a vastly under rated band in my opinion -

Anybody remember MTV Friday night video fights? They played every week for a few years, but this ad is all i could find. It's almost as if they never existed.

That's such a kick ass song. My god daughter who is 17 has a huge group of her friends at a college prop school and they are all totally into The Cure. Every time I go to my friends house and go upstairs I can hear that song playing in her bedroom, too funny. That's one cool thing about great music, even if it's older, it will still be listened to, even by younger people.

I still watch this on youtube probably like once every other week.

Loved this vid and song back in the 6th grade. Bonus was that it turned me on to the 1970's version of Stevie Wonder, which is without a doubt some of the coolest music ever made.

Loved this crap when I was in college. Weed probably had something to do with it.

Lol for the night rider hook that starts around 1 min mark. Used to play N64 NFL blitz for hours on end to this crap while under the influence. Then I grew up, I think.

Think this was around freshman year in high school. Possibly the only redeeming quality of VH1 ever.

What does The Cure and The Cult have in common except they hail from England and broke around the same time? The Cult are for cool people that hate pop music. The Cult is for kick ass times, turn it up on the radio and rock out type of music. If they actually listen to The Cult, they are probably really cool chicks and can kick most p***Y dude's ass.

So, can you tell me where she goes to school?

How about The Corrs and Bono?

Andrea Corr makes me feel all tingly inside.

I'm pretty sure there is some guy singing in this video, but it's unconfirmed.

Otherwise, Linda Evangelista!
