It's unrealistic, but the though of this guy turning into a star possession TE with our current WR core is just ****ing scary. If we can have a legit running attack, I don't know how a defense will be able to prepare for us.'

That's literally all we're missing on O too.

Stud TE and a Stud RB.

He ran a 4.64 forty before the draft.....he's big (6'5" 250lbs) and has big hands....if he develops he could be something special in my opinion.

I just went back and saw we drafted him in 2000. I couldn't remember when everyone got all high on him though. I was thinking it was while BG was still kickin' it.

The only thing Gronk and Thomas have in common is they play TE and have a knack for getting hurt.

wouldn't it be funny if fans brought fax machines to the ravens game and waved them at Elvis during the game. I saw your avatar with the fax machine.

I wouldn't mind seeing Stokley back for the WR room.

Thomas could still pan out, but there's another dark horse TE in the mix who might also have a shot, Lucas Reed, the UDFA from New Mexico was overlooked in a strong year for TE's but he had a very impressive pro day in which he out-performed a lot of the drafted TE's....6'6", 250, 4.68/40, 37" vertical...maybe some interesting depth at the position.

There is no room for Stokely on the roster IMO. Not with King getting drafted. Now I guess if Tamme got moved then maybe there would be reason for Stoke as a back up slot wr in case Welker went down.

But we have Tamme that lined up in the slot almost all last yr.

Just don't see room for Stokely. He should be glad he got to play one more hurrah and just call it a career.

I, like a couple of other posters, am confused at the hate. JT was drafted as a developmental player and I figured him for a 3 year project when he came in before the injuries. I mean he played 1 year of college ball.

Everything I have heard indicates a talented, smart, hard working kid trying to figure out how to play the game of football while being injured. To tell the truth, my biggest concern is can he stay healthy.

Great teams have ways of getting great value by picking some players that need development and then actually developing them. I see Oz in this role tbh.

Anyways the jury is still out but I remain excited re JT - unless he just turns out to be injury prone.

he was traded up for. any player the Broncos trade up for must produce early or they are a bust to the OM.
