Default Dallas Cowboys Big Board

These are a few links to articles about the Dallas Cowboys who mistakenly leaked their draft board for myself and other draft junkies to enjoy.

The second link contains the reconstructed big board!

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...t-board-again/

http://www.bloggingtheboys.com/2013/...-7-round-board

I thought this would be very interesting to compare with your evaluations and how Denver drafted in comparison to "America's Team".

No they had low grades on the whole draft. Cowboys were saying there wasn't 32 first round grades to be found.

Just the fact Webster on there board shows he was on teams radar. Hell that board doesn't have very many players on it compared to how many get picked.

Doesn't Dallas accidentally have their board "leaked" every year?

Serious deja vu right now.

No Poyer on the board, and he slid for a lifetime... I wonder what skeletons are hiding in his closet...

They didn't really follow their board.. Jerry Jones single handedly destroys the Dallas Cowboys.

After taking Travis Frederick in the 1st round, I think the 'Boys draft board should probably be the last source we should use for evaluating our own draft.

Speaking of Travis Frederick, they had him as a 2nd rounder, and Kiper had him going in the 3rd, but they took him in the 1st anyway. So they didn't even go by their own board.

Lotulelei behind Floyd and Richardson? They deserve what Jones does to them every year.

Don't you get they didn't have enough players rated first rounders to fill out the first round? If you pick near the bottom and there are only 15 players with a first round grade then many times you draft a 2nd round graded player in the first round.

Agreed, Nate Webster would be a bad pick right about now.

Their goal was to pull a McDaniels and have just a little over 100 people on their big board so that it was less confusing and more "pure." Thus they left out kids they had no intention of selecting, as well as those with potential character issues.

I'd wait and see what this rookie draft class does. Dallas may be pulling a Cassandra. I doubt it, but you never know until you know.

Then they should have traded out of the 1st. High likelihood he is still there, darn near anywhere in the 2nd.

I truly believe that if Sly was taken just before our pick at 28, then the Broncos take the deal the Vikes offered to the Pats just after we stole their guy.

I think Richardson is gonna be better than Lotulelei. I think him, Sly Williams and Datone Jones are gonna be good DL in the NFL.

I just saw that. Didn't they even state after the draft that they had a 1st round grade on Travis Frederick?

Why would they reach for him in the 1st, while having a 2nd round grade on him?

How do you know they didn't try to trade down? You can't just force other teams to trade up when they also don't have many players they want to use a first round pick on.

They actually didn't do that bad. It basically came out to a trade of Eric Reid for Travis Frederick and Terrance Williams...both starters at position of need.

they had 19 players with a first round rating. I think Elway said that the Broncos had right around the same number. In fact, I think Elway alluded to the fact that having around 20 players rated with a first round pick is not too far from the average.
