So to summarize this thread.

KC Sucks, even Jarrod Allan agrees

KCDud's only defense on KC not sucking is that Oregon is better than Colorado

KC Misery is only inhabited because the wheels fell of the wagons, those wagons were put on blocks and left on their front lawns

Doom is in a new scheme also. oh and your qb in a new scheme nothing worst then that.

Best ski resort in CO is about the same distance from Denver. So we're even.

Btw-I'd drive an hour to the beach any day.

If you think the beach is so great, wtf do you live in KC? (apologies if that's already been covered in this thread)

Don't forget that Sheepstud prefers the beach to the mountains but lives near neither.

I love piling on the guy but last two posts are very harsh. We love a certain place and rave about it but we can't always be there or live there. He probably has a job that he has to live in KC. His skills are needed in KC and nowhere else do these certain skills are needed or don't fit into the geography area. Lay off the lad a tad.

Ok maybe this thread will become a great way for the Stud to network his skills to a locale that suits his recreational preferences!

I'm sorry, but its a pet peeve of mine that people will live someplace they don't love...why? There are so many great places in this country to live, so much opportunity out there, and life is too short to spend it in one place - especially if the only reason you are there is because of familiarity or family.

The mountains are visible from Denver. The beach is not visible from Portland, OR.

Both cities are beautiful, btw.... I'd definitely prefer to visit either one above Kansas City.

If you can't see the water from Portland how did it get to be called Port - Land?

KC Dud specified ocean beaches, Baja... (and posted a picture of the Oregon Coast).

What you typically see people doing in the Columbia River near Portland is fishing and parasailing. The river is very broad and there are freight barges running back and forth.

Gaylore swinging and missing again!

My family has a townhouse by the beach in Oregon that I visit at least twice a year.

Keep swinging
