How many people here can say they saw Denver play Houston in the Astrodome?

I have. I used to live in Houston as a kid. We were sitting two rows behind Elway's wife and kids the whole game and didn't know it until Elway came up and gave them a hug after the game was over.

I don't remember anything about the actual game though. Just Elway and his kids and I thought the Astrodome smelled like a giant indoor swimming pool.

1995 Terrell Davis' rookie year. It was a great game, an offensive shoot out in which Denver lost. It was the Oilers' last season in Houston, tickets were easy to come by.

There are young ones on the mane, that never saw TD run or know about the two QB system that Denver ran in 92 when Elway was hurt - Moore and Maddox.

The moment he starts locking onto WR's though he will struggle.
So a wall-eyed 6'7" QB is perfection

38 is not a bad number either. It's the Marines number IIRC.

I am sad for them. I am more sad for me that I was old when I saw THAT!

I wrote it backwards. Oilers had stole it from Miami. Miami had it in 72 and oilers 78. This was all before my time so i got the 2 confused. It's the fight song.

Then T-pain stole it.

Montee took #38 because he admires Mike Anderson. He doesn't need to wear Davis' number. He can cement his own legacy.
