I love Cecil, but what is it with Bleacher report and their stupid slide shows? A new ad per slide?

Late in practice he was able to connect with undrafted rookie tight end Lucas Reed downfield. Dysert threw the pass right on the money and hit Reed over the shoulder in stride. It's an incredibly difficult throw and one he needs to make more consistently as a pro.

this makes me happy. i am all for more aggressive, fast paced with better play calling. play calling was an issue a lot last year. especially in the Baltimore game.

Geez he makes Dysert sound like dog poop then says he's too good to survive practice squad without getting picked up. Confusing.

I have read this like 5 or 6 times, and I feel a little dizzy.

How many 6'8 QB's have played in the league? Dan Mcguire? Who else?

meh, he's just putting the rookie QB into perspective. No one expected Dysert to blow the doors off Dove Valley. What we expect is a young QB with upside and the potential to get better, and Dysert has this.

For the love of god would people please stop saying Oz is 6'8". He was listed as 6'8" on his college roster. He's not even 6'7".

6'6 and 7/8. Close enough to 6'7.

The kid had a full-ride scholarship to play major college basketball at Gonzaga. He's a damn talented athlete. If he succeeds or fails, it's not going to be because he's an 1 inch taller than the magical cutoff to be successful.

I would imagine just that. They get like $.10 per click, so they make it so you have to click it a bunch of times.

Oh damn that means he is supposed to be a TE.

If he didn't have elite arm strength, he probably could. He'd be a better TE conversion prospect than Timmy.

QB position break down by fans;

6'1" / 6'2" Too short to see in the NFL

6'3" / 6'4" ideal size for a NFL qb.

6'5" / 6'6" can they move

6'7" and up too tall to play too easy to break? (reason unknown)

It's easier for the defenders to read their eyes.

Probably one that is good at looking defenders off. There hasn't been too many 6'7"ish QB's in the history of the game playing QB. I think it was under 10 players. Maybe that is a big reason, maybe they play BB instead. Gruden said if he could master that he will have a huge advantage due to his size. The moment he starts locking onto WR's though he will struggle.
