Possible? Sure. But I think perhaps you underestimate the fall off from Hill to Augustin, and how important Hill has been for Indiana in this series.

No I fully realize it, but it's not like George hill makes them the 96 bulls either. Indiana has played great this series, but the Knicks have done plenty to **** themselves too

cecil lammey is unlistenable, but before I realized who it was and changed the station, heard him blather about how the Nuggets need to lose big and get in the lottery. In order to have a 1/14 chance (or whatever the math is - a longshot anyway) of getting the #1 pick. God, what an imbecile.

stupid idea yes, but Wiggins is potentially LeBron good.
there will be team that lose just to have a shot at him.
the problem will be if the team that gets him is extremely thin in talent rather than having intentionally tanked.

Yeah, Wiggins is amazing. I don't know that you could talk the team into losing 35 games or so than they lost this season, though. And if you did, your chances are less than 10%, still.

I get what you're saying, though. If I were a GM I would give up a lot to get Wiggins.

How about this kid? He's a 6'7", 230 pound Freshman-to-be.

as good as Wiggins is, if you pick in the top 5 next year you should get a franchise stud.
Wiggins,Parker,Smart,Randle,Poythress,Harrison,Fai r,GRIII,Young,Nash,Dinwiddie,Vonleh,Anderson,Austi n are all really good players and will likely push for a top 5 ranking. that doesn't even mention Mitch McGary.

All of those guys are good players, but you don't go into the tank for them. Wiggins is the only real franchise changer among them.

i'm not saying you tank for them. you only tank for Wiggins. but if you have a bad year the depth in the top 5 is enough to not hurt and have it be a wasted season.

Hibbert just flat out muscled melo. That was one of the best blocks I've ever seen.

Meanwhile Knicks falling apart. Why foul there?

Edit. Wow. Foul when you don't need to then don't foul when you need to?? Smh.

Good game. Saves the Knicks from a beating by Miami. It'll be interesting to see how Miami will handle the Hibbert conundrum, but Indy will have to deal with the Lebron issue

I saw Parker play three or four times this year, and it was pretty underwhelming. I expected more, based on his reputation, but I guess he's still just an 18 year old kid. Coach K might be really good for him.

most of the players who come from Simeon disappoint.
Derrick Rose & Nick Anderson are pretty much the only top tier guys who have come from the school. they play insanely well in HS and then back up the hype in college.

that said, i think Parker is legit.

RE the Simeon kids, two of them are headed for Illinois, although their names escape me. I think that they're pretty overrated, so I guess I'm agreeing with you. Anderson and Rose, though, make up for a lot. They have a ton of talent. There's a 6'10 kid that didn't get to play much this year that looked pretty good to me when he did play. I should try to find out these guys' names.

The Simeon coach seems to do a good job of recruiting, but he's no Sonny Cox. King had all star teams every season when he was there.

Ya I've liked Hibbert for a while. Duncan was mentoring him for a bit. Just don't think they have enough firepower to overcome the heat. That Stevenson dude will have to play that way every game of that series.

We will probably see it several more times in the next series of "big" NBA commercials.

I thought the Knicks got a lot of bad calls out there from the refs. Just a lot of BS. Wanted the Knicks to face Miami(would be fun down here).

Heat will have to attack Hibbert/West and get them out of the game(foul trouble). It's going to be a tough matchup though for the Heat because of their weakness inside and Indy's overall defense. Will expect to see Vogel whine like a little girl in his post game conference about fouls.

Heat taking this series in 6

San Antonio is destroying Memphis early in the 2nd. I don't know if Memphis scores enough to come back from a 19 point deficit.

Memphis closed to within 10 late in the 3rd, but San Antonio has opened it back up to 18? maybe? At any rate it's over.

I didn't want to use the refs excuse, but the Knicks got no favors out there. Hibberts done a good job of staying out if foul trouble but maybe if Bron attacks him maybe hell get some calls
