The Caps pull their usual disappearing act in Game 7. Lulz.

Announcers were saying that Bruin fans that were in the parking lot were running to get back into the building after that 4th goal. Lol

You`re picking the penguins to lose in 7 games. That is a laugher.

As well as Ottawa is playing and with their great goaltending I still don`t see them getting past the Pens. The Pens have too much scoring and playoff experience. Too much firepower for Ottawa. I think Pens in 6

Our first round performance has shaken my confidence greatly. We will either kick it up several notches or else we will get eliminated, it's that simple. They will score on Anderson but not to the extent they did on Nabokov obviously. That means to win they have to lock Ottawa down....not holding my breath. Nothing will shock me in this series. I can see us flaming out because we aren't playing solid all around hockey or I could see us slipping by again due to sheer high end talent.

Ottawa has a lot of young players with not much playoff experience, but they do play with heart and turn it up a notch when it matters most and they've showed some clutch moments. I still think the Pens have too much experience and that will factor in.

One thing before I move on: bunch of ****ing pathetic losers.

Only the caps could break an 0-5 in game 7 road games streak for a franchise, only the caps.

Congrats to you but I wouldn't go around pumping your chest just yet. The rangers are not a good team at all.

Good luck to you but Boston won't be a p***Y ass team that quits like the caps. You also won't be getting blatant PP advantage against another original 6. Bias won't be there.

All the series are complete toss ups, IMO.

Red Wings will play the Hawks well since its a huge rivalry. Should be good.

Name one ****ing time, I've puffed my chest. Go back over the years and rarely do I even comment during a series.

Ovie is your captain and was held to 1goal at the same time Cally was bashed by the Caps announcers for not being able to score but hit everything. Ironic?

Rangers were the LEAST penalized team and you complain, Ovie should have had a boarding for his hit on Mac but nothing was called.

Your team has a captain that cares only about himself....the Stephan goal shows it all, even if he tried, he stops that shot.

Thanks, SoCal. Still can't believe it really happened. What an ending. That's the kind of win that can energize a team and push them through the next round or so.

I'm just glad they're not playing Game 1 until Thursday. 3 games in the last 4 days and we were without 3 of our top 5 dmen tonight, forcing Chara to play 35 freaking minutes. Them boys need some rest.

Ovechkin begins his cryfest...

Quote:
“The refereeing... You understand it yourself. How can there be no penalties at all (on one team) during the playoffs?
“I am not saying there was a phone call from (the league), but someone just wanted Game 7. For the ratings. You know, the lockout, escrow, the League needs to make profit... I don't know whether the refs were predisposed against us or the League. But to not give obvious penalties (against the Capitals), while for us any little thing was immediately penalized...”

Yeah...

I actually HATE two teams in this league. I hate the Canucks and I hate the Maple Leafs. I now love the Boston Bruins for crushing both their dreams in the past two years.

2nd round predictions:

Senators over Penguins in 6. Ottawa has the hot goalie you need, Pittsburgh has no goalie at all. Pittsburgh will take a few games on the back of their superior offense, but the Senators should win every close game in the series.

Bruins over Rangers in 7. I think this will be 7 close games. The Rangers have the better backs while the Bruins have the better forwards, both teams have some talent and some question marks in net - I give Boston the edge because they have game 7 home ice.

Blackhawks over Red Wings in 5. I don't see a team left in the playoffs that can truly push the Hawks. No team in the league has the depth at forward that Chicago does and their blueline is unmatched. I do think the Red Wings are better coached and have a better situation in net, but ultimately the depth isn't there and 3 long trips to Anaheim and the break the Blackhawks had will be too much to overcome.

Kings over Sharks in 6. The Kings have the better backs, deeper forward group but they will need Quick to really play his best hockey in this to match the Sharks netminder. Ultimately the Kings have more depth and can apply the type of pressure over the whole game that Vancouver just couldn't do, also the Sharks should not be able to dictate line matchups the way they did against the Canucks.
