naw, Sherman did what he was good at, signing contracts and handling the business side of things.
he was GM in name only, rumblings are Eric Lacroix was running things and PL overseeing them.
which is why EL "resigned" and PL is a "advisor" until his contract runs out.

Minny has a lot of holes. Parise and Suter helped eliminate some issues but their farm has to cover up the rest.

If the Caps can finish off the Rangers tomorrow then I can officially just sit back and enjoy the rest of the playoffs.

LA's only saving grace is that with SJ winning, they won't have to play the 'Hawks 'til the WCF.

The league's bias and cluster**** of officiating games inconsistently is back worse than ever this spring.

It's embarrassing.

I was shocked to see the caps pull last night out. They always lose those types of games historically. Maybe this year is different; they better close it out in 6 as they suck in game 7 situations.

If there is one thing that we have to accept when watching playoff hockey it is that you can't trust the refs. Something that is a penalty in one game is not called in another, something that is called in the 1st period won't be called in the 3rd. Year after year we get this bull**** refereeing and Bettman who is giant bag of **** will never do anything to change it.

Orpik wins it in OT.

Pens win 4-3 and win the series 4-2.

Ottawa is up next. Gotta tip my hat to the Islanders...their speed gave us problems all series and Capuano outcoached Bylsma. Vokoun was a rock the last two games. Dude is really stepping up cause the D hung him out to dry tonight.

Really need to clean up our game or else we will get beat.

Turned it on just in time to see the OT winner. I wouldn't be surprised if the Pens get knocked out by the Sens.

5-0 PPs advantage today and 19-7 for the series in which the caps have had more puck possession.

The bias is embarrassing. The NHL is really tempting fate with respect of integrity of the game. It would behoove them to not play with fire as they have 300 billion less fans than a league, the NFL, that doesn't dare show this kind of bias.

****ing joke.

Yeah because retaliation penalties should never be called. Caps lost their head, take a look and see which teams were the least penalized this season. The Rangers are top 5 in that.

I still haven't seen worse refing than the last time the Avs made the playoffs and played the Sharks. That was the most one sided I've ever seen.
