There was some great hockey played tonight all across the league. This has been a great start to the playoffs. If only Vancuver could have grown a pair and forced 6, it could have been on of the greatest first rounds in decades.

Didn't look like Vancouver wanted to be in the playoffs.

Yes and what makes it exciting. Ducks announcers were mentioning that last night when Blues tied it with :45 left. Of course Ducks and Redwings have had 3 games of goal in the last minute...actually last second with 3 overtime games. Good series in the west but how Vancouver lost 4 in a row to SJ is rather odd.

SJ has finally pulled their heads outta their butts and are playing to the talent level on the team. Not good. Expected them to be the ones going out in the 1st round.
Looking more and more like its gonna be ANA vs LA next round.
And if that happens, both teams will spend all 7 games killing each other, and have nothing left for CHI-SJ. Ugh.

Nothing else going on in SoCal (no basketball and ****ty baseball) so all attention will be on that series. It would be good times but since there would be a lot of fans at both venues, expect hitting in all 7 games. During INT (radio) last night, they were talking to Babcock about home ice advantage and stated some dumb penalties (Abdelkader on Toni Lydman) at home due to the frenzy of the home town fans. Amazing the stats for the first two games at Anaheim as Ducks were pounding the Redwings and then game three is completely opposite with Redwings seeming to get double the hits in on the Ducks.

yeah...the wings had so many opportunities to blow the doors off the ducks last night. Props again to Hiller. This has been an entertaining series.

They are finally playing well. Its no surprise that when they finally put Iginla with Crosby. We've been screaming for this ALL SERIES. You reunite the Kunitz Malkin Neal line and have Sid with Duper and Iggy. Iggy has been a horrible fit with Geno and they have been forcing them together.

This still feels like 93.

Funny line from the pens board...."Geno is a goal away from a Malkin hat trick.....bad turnover stupid penalty and a goal". Dude let's opponents get under his skin way too easy.

And Lacroix finally out! Well, both Lacroixs are out, since Eric is also gone.

How many Avs fans are dreaming of Joe having the Elway effect -- all of us?

Sens have been playing great hockey all year considering the amount of injuries they've had throughout the season, and now they're getting healthy at the right time. They're not a typical #7 seed; they're stacked with talent and depth everywhere. They lost Erik Karlsson, Jason Spezza, Craig Anderson, Milan Michalek, and Jared Cowen to injuries for a long period during the season yet they were #5 in the East for some time before the end of the season. I just want them to win a cup for Alfredsson; he deserves it.

Wings force a Game 7 with another OT win....they almost blew the game by giving up 2 goals late in the 3rd period.

Woohoo Kings advance !! Quick & playoff Penner were the King of Kings tonight. But overall great team win against a very tough Blues team. Bring on the Ducks or sharts..
