hh, well, he's had two teams now tell him he's not a QB. Every team mildly interested asked him if he was interested in switching positions. At some point, you read the writing on the wall.

Some guys just don't have it at this level.

Coaches and players who were with him in Denver say that Tebow would get to the line and immediately lose track of the play call from the huddle in the jumble of what he was told and what he saw across the line.

Meanwhile, authorities in New York are attempting to talk Skip Bayless down off a ledge. Reports say that he is sporting a Jets Tebow jersey, clutching a Tebow bobble head doll and weeping uncontrollably.

We're really doing the "first year starter has trouble with playcalling and reading defenses stupidity"? Good heavens. It's not like he forgot to line up under center.

If tebow is too dumb to remember or call a play I can get behind the hate. I understand no team would want to invest in a guy like that.

Problem is he is so far behind other TE and FB it would be hard for a team to groom him when there are other athletes further along in their progress.

[QUOTE=gunns;3840297]If it was the 4th quarter he led the team, but if the defense hadn't kept scores so close and the Broncos in the game, he'd have never had a chance to do that last minute winning run.

As far as giving 110% there were lots of rumblings that he never took opportunities for off season learning experiences offered to him or working with his teams. I have nothing against the kid either and wish him much success in his future endeavors but seeing as everyone knew the Jets were getting rid of him and no one has come forward I think his NFL days are over.[/QUOTE
As far as Tebow no team will claim him during waivers as his current contract then stays in effect. I have no doubt that he will hear from someone after the waiver line clears.

Umm it is no surprise he wasnt grasping the game mentally

I cannot remember exactly who but I remember reading from some of the Denver reporters that he was not showing any ability to pick up the fundamentals they were teaching him

I guess they would spend a bunch of time with him going through like 5 and 7 step drops and he kept screwing up the same way over and over again

I remember specifically they joked he was like teflon, that nothing the coaches were teaching him would stick

Actually I am pretty sure it was Rick Reilly who said that now
Said Denver coaches told him that

The Tebow is done. I guess we will not see this anymore in the NFL.

he either needs to go to the CFL(which he won't do because of pride) or switch to RB or TE who can be utilized as a weapon(which he won't do because of pride)

I am not going to search for "rumblings" I read 1 and 2 years ago. What I read was along the lines that private workouts had been offered and he was too busy going to the Phillipines, reading Green Eggs and Hams to kids, etc., etc. If it is true, says a lot. If it's not true and he did participate, says a lot.

how many guys who are better QBs than him have converted to a new position in the NFL to keep their dream of playing in the NFL alive? every year there is a new QB who has talent but evaluators believe he'd be better as a TE or RB or WR and they make the switch. Tim isn't a QB. he'd make a great H-Back but he isn't a QB. i like the guy and wish him well, but if he won't get it through his head that he is never going to be a NFL QB he might as well head back to the Philippines or wherever he is doing charity work.

his entire career the offseason is for charity work or publicity for his book. he hasn't put forth the work to improve as a QB. for as good a person as he is, he has that Jay Cutler ego where he believes he is great as he is and doesn't need to work on his game.

to be fair Tebow has worked in the offseason on his game, but obvioulsy not enough. Instead of the book tour and world travels you'd think he'd focus on his offseason a bit more than just the few weeks before QB camp.

This year it was some witch doctor that claimed he fixed tebow in two weeks.
